All you need to do is take the handles off, widen the holes and install the rack. This video made it take 3 times as long as it should. Although I found some hidden mud and cleaned it which was good.

What is the tail tidy on this bike?

Will this top rack and the Tusk pannier racks fit the Husqvarna 701 enduro as well? Since 701 enduro almost identical to the KTM 690 enduro.

Before buying; have you looked at sw-motech racks ? It comes in 2 sizes, smaller alu top plate, and bigger steel plate. They are a better option IMO, better looking, and it also provides handles for wrestling the bike around or as passenger handles.

How much weight can you put on this rack without concern about the gas tank? Thanks.

Yes, you can attach a tail bag or other luggage to this rack as long as your motorcycle can handle the weight.

I know about the tail bag, but I'm specifically interested in having a top box because it can be locked and I can't really find any information out there wether it is possible to install it or not, like a top case with a lock system that many motorcycles usually have.

Well after taking my bike apart I realized that they were just the handle holes and didn’t need to be drilled. Just needed to take the handles off
