Tuscarora State Park
I decided on a bit of a whim to check out one of the few state parks in eastern PA I haven't yet been too. Tuscarora State Park is located in the anthracite coal region of north east PA in Schuylkill County. The park contains over 1600 acres of mixed forest habitat as well as a fine warm water fishery in the 96 acre Tuscarora Lake. There are over 9 miles of hiking trails available for use. Unfortunately, i got off to a late start and was unable to complete my full hike as intended. The overcast skies, frozen lake and complete emptiness of the place on a cold winter day gave the place a gloomy almost ominous type of feel. I live close to this state park..I take my dogs there all the time in summer.
At the end of a long day, I decided to relax and watch one of your sweet films. Your filming of the water, the lake and creek, is awesome. Thanks for getting me out in the woods, Gator. Oh... I did see Bigfoot at the beginning at the bottom right.

I've been back to Tuscarora several times but haven't filmed. Me personally, I find it interesting to see the growth and change over time. Sometimes I cringe at some of the old stuff, but generally I look at it as I did the best I could at the time. And I'm still learning all the time , thanks for the well wishes and kind words @kevind5396

Im sure there are Eagles there, they have made such an incredible comeback...
I am beginning a series on Tuscarora. It's so interesting to watch where you are hiking. I am searching for the Spirit of Tuscarora . Coming soon.
