How did you enable voice chat? I updated mine and I can't hear anyone and they can't hear me. Such as warzone proximity chat, friends.

I’ve been waiting for this review for a while

ok so been looking at these head phones as ive a few i have used, including razer. however recently for gmaing be it ps5 or pc ive gone back to my turtle beach stealth 600 the OG pair and found the quality and reliability was far better. and thes stealth pro peaked my interest. ive watch alot of reviews and they all left me totally undecided (alot to spend if i dont like) and gotta say you have been by a country mile the best reviewer ive come across in terms of nutral and detailed to everything i wanna know about a headset. to the point i think for me personaly these are gonna be awesome when i get them. thanks for the review and i will keep a look out on everything you review in the future :)

Beyond glad to see another company doing the dual battery system like Steelseries. Should be a widespread feature for wireless headsets

I've had this headset for about a week now. Absolutely phenomenal work from Turtle Beach! My only two gripes are the light on the transmitter, I wish it could be dimmed and/or turned off. But I have it out of the way so it isn't too annoying. Secondly, I wish the button on the earcup could mute the microphone as well. Small things I think but it would be great if we could change those

I just got them and loaded up apex but i noticed the headset wasn’t loud at all and i had on max. My headset before was the Astro a 40 w/ amp. Is yours loud loud ?

@@joesipr no but i reconnected everything again just to see if anything changed and it did. Mic is actually super loud i love it. My only complaint is (at least for my big head) i feel like it gets in comfy after a while. I’ll probably get used to it tho. Besides that tho it’s really good

Love The Techne! Brilliant review as always. However, I hope the trend of KZread thumbnails where the creator has that “Surprise- ENEMA!” expression falls off.

Thank you for that final stretch where you are showing the stress on the headband... you can also see the outer plastic piece bending unnaturally. I wear a headset 12hr a day with a size 8 head, so they would break easily over time.

Great review as always think I know exactly which is my new gaming headset only question I have for you techne is the sound quality just as good on your phone or pc compared to the xbox1 which is what I'm buying it for but my I find myself using my old turtlebeaches for alot of audio calls these days just for the sound clarity if you say the sound is brilliant on any device sold 👌🤘👊

i absolutely love the sound stage and profiles of TB headsets. Build quality though is a different story. Sure when you first take it out of the box, twisting & bending it reassures you that its a durable headset. But give it about a year and TB plastic products tend to break on you.

is it me or did that mic actually sound good? Swappable batteries too? Welcome back turtle beach it feels like forever since I saw your name pop up. I am tempted to get these to go with my work setup where I also do some gaming... Is the price justifiable though? I daily drive the arctis nova pro wireless on my gaming setup at home and these do appear to be similar... Slightly cheaper than the novas which I was planning on buying another one of those but these may do instead hmmm...

Just bought this headset it’s amazing glad I held off getting the nova pro wireless the mic on steel series is terrible so nasal sounding, I have upgrading from arctis 7x and these are a massive improvement

I had those pre-ordered and was waiting for your review to drop. Great job! And the Turtle 700 Max Gen2 was already phenomenal but I had to return for connectivity issues. Did you get any with this or is your Wi-Fi environment not that congested in the first place?

By the way the Arctis Nova Pro W doesn't stand a chance against even the 700 Max Gen2 and I returned when I got the 700. So, I know this will be the audio king for me.

Just bought the TB stealth pros because of your videos. Upgrading from the Astro A10. Is that a huge upgrade? 😅

I know you are a wicked cushion guy as well, my wicked cushion for my hyperx headset are amazing total recommend, but I bought a pair for my astro a40s because they became available, but they seem to lack same cozy feel not sure if was just my set I got, but be awesome if you was able to review the cushions and see if you have same results, love all your content btw, but i thought I bring that to your attention.

How're they holding up

I own and still use my turtle Beach elite 800x , should I upgrade to this model or keep the one I've ??? They still work perfectly no problème at all even after 7 years

Looking forward to comparison to Audeze Maxwell! Leaning towards Maxwell out of Artics Nova Pro and this. But love the reviews!

I already preordered the Stealth Pro but questioned if I should have been looking more at the Maxwell's so I look forward to the comparisons too. the 80 hour battery life sounds better then the 12 hour swappable batteries though eventually that 80 hours might go away in time and you can always probably just buy a new battery for the Stealth Pro, but I don't think a 12 hour battery life is acceptable anymore.

unfortunately I was never a Penrose fan, so was never getting on hype train with Maxwell. I also did not like the novo pro wireless due to the ANC bump, therefore ended up with the Nova pro WIRED combined with Epos h6 pro, absolutely love those two headsets. I feel like I need to experience the Stealth pro now and possible add them to my collection, fingers crossed. I was never a fan of the stealth 700 Gen 2 though, so I hope they sound better and a bit louder would not be a bad thing either! hoping they come today!!

Hey Techne, So just got these today, great for the ps5, audio is very nice. On pc, they are ok, dont get that loud like my G6 Dac/amp and my beyerdynamic DT 770 & Antlion unimic. Just like the G6 is not that good for ps5, imo. Great review, got them because of your take on them. Will keep them for the PS5.

Thanks for the comment. Do you find them heavy when using for long hours? I deal with neck pain but was reading online that even tho Pro’s are heavier, it isn’t too bad.

How do you make the right side speaker louder then the left. I'm 50% deaf on the right.Happy to be a subscriber.

Had a pair of Turtlebeach ones and I remember the sound was some of the best i've had! Though they got pretty hot around the ears. Is it the same for these? I have been using the Arctis 7 for quite some time now, and they could see an upgrade soon. Just dont want to by these, if they get hot after a good long session

If Logitech/Astro doesn't come out with an update version to the A50s soon, I may go with the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro.

Great review as always. I just don't think I could shell out $300 plus dollars for a Turtle Beach because of the dependability of their headsets. Ive owned several and none have made it past a year.

I have been saying this for while now, turtle beach has really come a long way, and they make some solid products these days. ( no fluff, really gamer/consumer talk)

I love turtle beach new stuff i have the 700 max for my switch and i have the steelseries nova 7s i think for my Playstation 4 its their new mid range headphones that i do love but it freezes alot and that worries me but for my ps5 i have the nova pro wireless and im fighting the urge to go buy these because i love being able to use the app to do everything on my phones when pretty much everyone else makes it where you need a PC to change anything and if i was rich i would already bought these but I'm very far from rich and even medium wage but dang this is so tempting

Does this have a standard AUX port? Because the Stealth 700s did not

I was going to order the steel tied the wired one was not impressed I was about to fork out for the wireless pair. But thanks to your video I just ordered the turtle beach I have always had turtle beach so I should stick with what i know. Plus like your video shows you have the app for the phone so you don’t have to worry about software that you can even get on an Xbox what’s the point it’s like having a Ferrari but your not aloud to take it over 50 there no point. To be honest I sent them back the sound was amazing just felt to heavy on my he so I went with the steel series pro wireless and the are great brilliant sound and so comfortable.

What do you think has more bass Maxwell's or the turtle beach pros?

i am wondering if this is better than Corsair Virtuoso XT? I am struggling with making choice between thiese two rn...

Now I know this might be a weird request, but can you do a comparison between the Playstation Pulse 3D, and the TB Stealth Pro. I recently upgraded from the Pulse to the Stealth Pro, and personally I can't seem to hear much of a difference when it comes to imaging/soundstage. Obviously the bass, and overall sound quality is better, but for FPS games, I think they're basically the same. Help?

Hey, just a thought Techne, how about doing a comparison to the Stealth 700 Gen 2's? I say this because I'd be curious comparing sound quality for those who may wonder on the differences. It's hard to know if the sound quality is that much different then of the Stealth Pro's for me who someone has no interest in the ANC feature. Not sure if it's worth the upgrade.

Also a comparison I would like to see, my main concern is durability though. Had mine break twice right under the rotating piece like a lot have had.

Is it possible to use a usb splitter and plug into ps5 and Xbox at once? Basically to eliminate having to get up and keep on moving the usb from system to system

i bought the headset, and is awesome, just dont like the sidetone, always is ON when is turn on the headset. Do u know if have a fix? cause is annoying because i have to open the audio hub to turn off :_(

Any idea when wicked cushions will put out the hybrid earcups? I just grabbed the headset today and i love it just dont care for full leather ear cups.

Is the same LED behavior of the dongle for 700 MAX gen2

In my turtle beach elite pro 2 the sound escapes and the mic picks it up when in-game chat, don't happen in Discord though. How are these for sound escaping and being picked up by the microphone?

I would like to know your thoughts on this headset compared to the Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 + Super Amp headset

I think you forgot to explain the super human sound .. do you use footsteps ? And do you use those eq settings with the super human sound

I am coming from the 700 gen max as well and yes, it works multi-platform the same way but uses a hub instead of a dongle. It doesn't have the little rubber band that creates the glasses channel like the 700 max gen 2 but the earcups are designed to be comfy for glasses, and they are. I don't feel any pinching when I wear them. My only complaint is that the mic monitoring is pretty bad compared to the 700 max gen 2, but I like heavy monitoring.

@@meridiusuk8567 I didn't use those but compared to the gen 2 they were fuller and I absolutely noticed things I hadn't heard before. Similar sound profile but more detail is how I would describe it. At least for me.

It saves to the headset! How do so many companies get that wrong. I tried the jbl quantum 910 amd logitech g x2. It is mind-blowing that these companies don't allow EQ settings to save to the headset for multi-platform play. Anyway, ran over. I'm trying to pick between the Audeze, nova pro, and these now.

Just recently got this headset do you get a drop in sound when increasing the volume via Bluetooth as the other headset I’ve had just increase?

I’ve always been curious how phone calls could work with dual headsets like this. So if I get a call while gaming, I could talk at the same time while hearing the game right? Would the in-game/ party chat be muted while I’m on the call?

You can call from your phone and play on ps5 and both audios come through
