Hey thanks for making this video ladies! Just wanna add in that Turquoise isn’t necessarily of American as it has been mined in Iran for 2000 years which is where the term “Persian Turquoise” comes from and it is considered the highest quality and hardness of any turquoise found on earth

The finest and the most well-known turquoise is from Iran not America. American stones are mostly low-quality and stabilized. Iranian turquoise from Neishabour are hard and the same one mine has many varieties of colors. 10:40 she said when the Persian mine closed sleeping beauty got its place....! WTH The persian mine of Neishabour has been mined since at least 5000 years ago and still in full production and it is said it will produce at least for the next 200 years; while sleeping beauty is almost all stablized and some are coloured in stupid colours such as purple. And She Started the show by saying she is as "Expert". Those who claim to be an expert usually know very little...

The information mentioned about Persian turquoise here is absolutely without proper knowledge and feel like very very biased. Please do some research and read properly before presenting some wrong information. At last, Turquoise mines in Iran are not closed at all, very much active and produce amazing amazing natural stones.

The finest turquoise comes from Iran. The mines are 7000 yrs old the Egyptians were in sing it before America was America. Turquoise means Turkish in French. The best quality is treated and hardened before it's extracted. Your Kingman turquoise is chalky and very soft so it has to be hardened by man.. Your native American turquoise is definitely NOT the best turquoise in the world. I speak 5 languages travelled 3oyrs and buy and sell gemstones including turquoise.. The colour of the stone and bedrock left attached by all Persian artisans indicated the the mine it came from..
