Turning YOUR Silly Drawings Into a REAL Track! (You Draw I Build It)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
‪@Steelpan_Dev‬
‪@kANGaming‬
Hey everyone! Welcome to another video and today I'm back in Zeepkist to build a track based off drawings that YOU posted in my Discord! I have been wanting to try a You Draw I Build It style video with Zeepkist for some time now and there have been some really good suggestions on the Discord so I figured it's time! I think the first track turned out GREAT, albeit a little hard, but check out the video to see what everyone thought of it and I hope you enjoyed watching this as much as we enjoyed playing it!
Thanks for watching the video! If you enjoyed it, make sure to like it, share it with your friends and give me your feedback in the comments below!

    That is a good example of a track that looks easy but one small feature makes it a skill challenge. Looked like a lot of fun still.

    The first build is what a fighter pilot calls a “Vector Roll”. You roll left and pull through, making what equates to a 90 degree right turn to put you on the tail of an enemy passing under you from left to right without either swinging out wide and overshooting or wasting your altitude-to-speed (energy) by trying to brake, since the enemy going steady will simply outpace you. It was a favorite move for P-38 and P-51 pilots in WWII, and displayed to deadly effect in Vietnam by Robin Olds (a WWII P-38 and P-51 pilot, Triple Ace) flying the F-4 Phantom II in Operation Bolo, using it to get the drop on a MiG-21. The Vector Roll changes your vector while retaining your high energy, avoiding overshooting as well. Really cool to see it translated into a car track.

    I would love to see one giant red herring track. Have a really long and difficult track that take you off on some crazy paths. Then it turns out the real path is nice relaxing easy track that you can finish a few seconds faster.

  • @AngelWedge
    @AngelWedgeАй бұрын

    On the third one… I think it would be so entertaining if flying straight off the loop without braking launched you straight into the finish; and after dropping down, instead of heading somewhere else you can just drop through a checkpoint and then do the same loop again, going for the finish this time (but maybe because you're not going through the first booster on that section, it could be balanced so that if you brake too much you would miss the exit on the second time around)

    Looking at the start here, I find myself thinking that if there was some slightly-cheesy way to gain just a little extra speed, and you went entirely onto the little block at the left instead of using it to flip, you might be able to end up on the "back" of the track… and if it's possible to get somewhere from there, that would be a beautiful shortcut :D

  • @starlight_maiden4300

    Something I was thinking about. Another way to handle the intersecting track could probably be to use those pieces with a hole in the center. So looping around then diving into the hole. Driving directly into the hole would probably be met with missing a check point, probably.

    I want to submit a design so bad. But all I got is a phone. Camera broken. And poor wifi. I have the perfect drawings already that I made probably a year ago. But it would probably be overlooked anyway because it's literally three separate cities. I designed it as a highway system for a fictional world of my own creation. If I had a computer I'd just make it myself since it's so large. It would probably also take a really long time to drive. If you're looking for an idea for another 10 minute long track, here you go. Okay maybe not 10 minutes, but at least 3. To give you the gist, there's Three areas shown... The lowlands, aka, the surface. Grass, trees, mountains, etc, and a small town with a road winding through it and off into the distance. The elevated city, the single road inclines as stilts support it, leading to a skyscraper city on stilts. There is no ground or places to walk outside of the buildings aside from bridges connecting them, the bottom of the building is just pillars down to the ground. The "highway" loops all the way around, and then spirals through it, elevating all the way up the buildings height. The exit of the highway rests on top of a building, with a system that launches the driver off a ramp. Ideally it would launch you really far. The final area is floating city, (magic, no propellers or balloons or thrusters) a landmass in the sky with shorter buildings than the elevated city's skyscrapers and taller than the small town in the lowlands. The road goes around the city, and then it leads to a road that goes along the tops of the buildings as supports. The end of that road just drops off somewhere. This track would probably flow better going backwards from the floating city to the lowlands, but when i created it i intended the vehicles to have motors. But if the entire track was lined with boosters, it may work...
