I mean, ocs are like real life people, like you and me. Some of us have tragic back stories, some have deep deep traumas and everyone has problems. Even the 'spoiled brats' have problems, like the ignorance and overprotection of their parents

Prob cuz he already has a main story with most things thought out and so it's easier to make it up. Plus he's saying it out loud instead of writing, from my own experience that helps with the thinking process more

sam casually destroying lives with the cheeriest storytelling voice for 16 min:

I love the way Sam talk about giving hero characters „so much trauma, that they can never recover” and other stuf in one video and all the birbs jokes in another… I love the variability.

HE HAS SUCH A CALMING VOICE

the tone with which he says "in a pool of his own blood" and "murdered" is just a clear sign that my boi is a MENACE to society "i just really wanted to, uh- youknow, DESTORY her life"

I like that for the second one he didn’t kill the family. It was kinda a given for the first girl, since the creator literally called her brother her weakness, but it’s the first thing you think of when making good characters bad so I’m glad he didn’t do that again

I’m so impressed with how you elevated the story for the first one from ‘generic but could still be really good if the writing was solid’ to ‘holy crap I’d watch this in a heartbeat’.

I like to write books and I must say the villain backstories keep getting better. However, writing a hero shouldn’t be much different. The main difference is that the hero makes good decisions even though they are in a tragic situation.

I’m starting to think Sam enjoys coming up with the stories more than actually drawing the characters

Second characters inciting incident is him realising that in order to have access to free healthcare, you gotta wait like 2 years. I’m almost in my villain arc from how it’s run.

It absolutely blows my mind how amazingly you twist the hero OC stories into villain arcs. I feel sad for Cerilla more & can connect with her. The compositions for both characters though it is SO INCREDIBLE ❤

These villians stories are just so good!

I really, really liked the villains in this one!!! The really interesting thing about heroes and villains to me is that they are not often separated by their backstories but separated by the choices they make. The first girl very well could've still been a hero---but instead of reinstating a better power in her kingdom she chose to keep going and become more and more brutal as time went on. Even though she really thought she was doing the right thing-------in the end, it was her choices that made her the bad guy.

Seriously, we should appreciate his creative mind/ideas more!! Like, I'd love to watch that series or read that book if he finishes it. The stories he came up with in the previous hero oc to villan video were really interesting too! I hope the artists that own the oc actually use these ideas and come up with a finished story for them.

This is the first video I've seen from this series, and I was so immersed in the narrative, the dark touches were really brilliant
