AHHHH I WAS IN CLASSES WHEN THIS PREMIERED I COULDN'T BE THERE DAMN :C ANYWAYS THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LETTING ME IN THIS PROJECT, my aromantic identity was actually first reflected in the character I used, before I even considered myself aromantic I already added that label to my character, It was not really a decision, my character just sort of told me that he is aromantic, and by growing up with this character I realized that I'm as well aromantic, this is why I love the idea of this map so much: many times, is characters who tell us first, either our sonas, our ocs, or characters we love from other media, Characters have such a great power of helping us grow and learn, to not feel alone or to have something on screen or on your own paper/mind and say "OH! I feel this way as well" or "OH! I love this character, it resonates with me in a way that's so special to me", using an anything MAP to let aro/ace express this feeling is such a great tool, and you can feel in every part this experience, this love towards this identity we share. And even if we share all one thing in common, the way we experience the aro/ace experience is diferent between each other, which is also the magic of MAPs: everyone has diferent styles, diferent stories, diferent ways to portrait these stories through visuals! this is why I'm extremely thankful to be part of these, and I sincerely, with my whole heart, thank you for doing this

This is exactly what I was hoping to get out of this MAP, and I'm so glad it means so much to you!! ❤ I had the exact same thing with one of my OCs, who I made aroace and used to vent and express myself before figuring out years later that I was as well, which is why it's always been so important to me to write character like this and why I wanted to host this!

Im so glad aro/ace people are getting more recognition. I told my friend I was aro and ace and she went on a whole rant on why the sexuality was invalid. Knowing theres other people like me makes feel alot better about the situation :) Thank you for hosting this beautiful MAP!

As an aroace kid I’ve always wondered why every character I saw got pushed to have a love interest. It was always frustrating to grow attached to a character I relate to and then they suddenly get a partner or crush. Thanks for this MAP, it makes me feel a lot better that there are others who are aroace as well

As an aroace person, I found this very touching and relatable. For so long I thought something was wrong with me because I never developed real crushes. JaidenAnimations is the one who actually made me aware of the aroace community and soon enough I found myself becoming part of it. There are so many people who are supportive of us but there are many who just don't understand it. Like my parents for example, they are very supportive of the LGBTQ+ community and yet when I tried to tell them I was aroace, they just said that I will experience love more when I get older. But now finding such a large community of people who understand me, I feel safe. I feel loved. (Pun not intended)

Seeing Hollyleaf portrayed as an ace/aro character makes me love and relate to her even more.

SEEING EVERYONE'S PARTS PUT TOGETHER GENUINELY MADE ME TEAR UP everyone did such an incredible job with telling their stories and the love and care in these parts shows so much... this project is so so beautiful, thank you so much for hosting and it has been such a pleasure to have been a part of it!!!

As an AroAce individual myself, this is really touching to watch! And it's really relatable for me as well. The artists did fantastically and it was done so soon! Great work to everybody who contributed to this project

I love how all the animators have represented the aro/ace community! As someone who's questioning whether they are aromantic, this beautiful piece made me tear up. I really feel like there should be more stories focused on friendship being equal and displayed like relationships, but on top of that, just generally being able to openly express ones friendship without being labelled as 'dating' or 'partners'. As someone who literally just came out as asexual, having this MAP just makes me super emotional. It's so beautiful and everyone did so good with their parts!!! It makes me feel really seen and validated for who I am, thank you all

As someone who identifies as asexual but struggles deeply with it I always heavily appreciate ace rep. I'm in a serious relationship, but my body just doesn't _react_ to anything really. I feel like I'm even more fucked up and I need more medication just to be what I'm supposed to be and react how I should. I struggle so much with reminding myself that it's okay that my body doesn't react to intimate behavior and that I'm not prone to it and that's fine that my body is like that. But it can still feel so isolating and it's so hard to believe that there's nothing wrong with the fact that I don't have a physical reaction regardless of how much I want to. It's always a bit of a relief to see asexuals (and of course aromantics!) Receive validation. Thanks, this was a beautiful MAP put together by such talented people! ❤

i personally have no idea why but this map made me emotional but i would like to think that its because of the song used. it strikes something into my heart that made me tear up and then just pairing it with everybodys part of their journey of realizing their identity is super powerful. big cheers for everyone who was in this map, its very touching and theres a lot of love in each part :]

Wasn’t able to make the premiere but honestly, I’m glad, because now I’ve had the chance to watch and rewatch each part and how they all flow together with the music and little details. It’s truly gorgeous, and of course heartwarming. As an aroace person myself it felt especially poignant but even with my own identity aside, the song and parts all feel so raw, emotional, and open about the uncertainty, discomfort, and joy that can all come with just finding out and being who you are.

As a person who'd always been struggling with sexual attraction this speaks to me so hard! I'm so in awe of this beautiful project, so amazing

This MAP is so incredible. The song fits so well, and the color pallet is amazing. But the animation--everyone did so incredibly amazing! So much effort was clearly put in, and it turned out so incredibly well! Great job everyone! And the thumbnail is so cute. This map deserves 1 million views at least. I pretty much never cry from anything, never really have before like this at least, and holy shit did this hit me hard. Even though we may seem to not go through as much as the rest of the lgbtq+ community, we do. WE go through just as much as the rest of them, have suffered just as much prejudice and hate, and are just as worthy of being proud and happy with ourselves as others. I love y'all, allies and fellow aro/ace friends. I wish you all luck on your life's journey and path towards finding yourself if you haven't yet, or, if you already have, stay proud. You deserve it.

This is so nice to see a representation of the aroace spec people. I am a aroace myself and people are pissed about it. I try to ignore them, this feels like a safe place for people like me. If your on the aro/ace or any other lgbt spectrum, be happy. Be you.

This actually made me so happy! I'm lesbian and ace and finding out that ace and aro people exist was such a great thing for lil me! It was like "I don't *have* to get married? Hell yeah!" And finding out that I hated kissing scenes in movies because *I* never wanted to also made movies a lot more enjoyable lol I wish romantic love wasn't as pressured onto people and especially not sexual things... this is probably a map I'll come back to for the sake of comfort All the animators did great after all!

I've been set on being Asexual, but this song greatly made me question whether I was Ace or Aro, and now I'm adding it to my playlist that I've named 'Hurt my Heart', very emotional and I wish to hold it close as long as I can. And to everyone out there who doesn't think they have support, look around a bit, you might find it in some unexpected places! You are valid and amazing, no matter what your identity is. Also, amazing art to all the artists involved!

oh my gosh this is absolutely gorgeous!!! as an aro/ace person you so rarely see yourself represented anywhere, and this really spoke to me! i really enjoyed all of the parts showing characters accepting other characters' identities or them suggesting that "hey this might be you" or "hey im like this and you might be too!" i also really liked how a lot of the parts showed the struggle behind realizing your identity as an aro/ace, which is something not a lot of people acknowledge. the failed relationships, the frustration from your peers, the frustration from yourself, all of that is typically just brushed under a rug, but it was all addressed here! anyways what a wonderful job done to all of the artists who worked on this!

I'm not aro or ace but I absolutely love this compilation. Adorable color palette of lavender and lichen, so many beautiful art styles, so many different representations of friendship being enough.

As someone who is still figuring things out but who thinks she might be aroace, this is wonderful! Everyone who worked on this did such an amazing job, and the representation is lovely!

This is a wonderful map, being Aro/Ace myself this hit home- the song, the characters, and the stories painted- just muah chefs kiss. Amazing animators, artists, and map creators all in this one project- my favorite part is always the splendid result! Being Aro/Ace is something that took me a while to accept about myself, but my friends around me are supportive and so am I in return. This is, and I’m being honest, the first Aro/Ace map I’ve ever come across. But frankly I’ve never gone specifically looking for one, yet I’ve been around on yt for years. I. Love. This. So. Darn. Much. Please please please, do some similar maps in the future- anything within the LGBTQ+ community is already in my favorites. And now this song is going to be put onto my playlist-
