You done well with the trans, the new cluch plates should have been installed, you'll be replacing them. Love what you did on the truck.

I've already done that 98 S10 with a 97 vortec 350 Fully built transmission by me and I made the front end flip up with gas struts spacers and door hinges bolted to the core support and the frame had to cut out the bumper to clear the grill yeah it'll light the tires up I don't think the rear end is going to last very long since I blocked off the accumulators it's shifts really hard

Very Early 4L60E debuted around 93/94, they had the same bellhousing setup as the 700R4

You really need a really big transmission oil cooler when you run a stall and you need to go through the whole transmission and put the z-pack or extra clutches in your 2 '4 clutch pack run the wide band new reverse input drum all new bushings etc I have seven stock clutches instead of six if you have a really beefy motor you need five pinion planetaries

How many packs a day of reds do I need to smoke to sound like that?

Jags that run sell all the stuff you need to lower it and line up the pinion shims for the transmission everything you need to put a V8 in it plus the book mine stops just fine with the stock brakes

Damn that truck has a 4L60E transmission and a 700R4 LOL.

The transmissions are virtually the same mechanically. Except the 60 is computer controlled

Upgrading the tranny and leaving the stock rear end is like shitting your pants and changing your shirt. Put a junkyard ford 9 inch in it. Im building a similar truck to this, and thats what im doing
