Are you happy with this lathe? Did you buy it a second time? Do you recommend it?

This is my first lathe and so far it is still holding the most important things, however, a good head and well-sharpened chisels which have not been shown in this video yet because I did not have the right sharpener. you can see me rolling on my instagram now and it comes out much better in my opinion.

You need to slow down a bit mate, and stop forcing the chisel when you’re first roughing out. Just take your time and I’m sure things will progress nicely 👍🏻

my friend i'm thinking of buying this particular lathe. the only thing that bothers me is compared to other lathes in the same category, it has low engine power. I see in the video some moments in the tool pressure stops momentarily.

I agree with it is enough for me, but to be honest I would need more power with a larger turning diameter

…There is enough power with these little machines, it is the belt that slips not the motor power not being enough! Also, very sharp tools make a massive difference, and as I stated earlier, take your time.
