Turning $300 into $2,000 at $1/2 NL! - Poker Vlog #18
Спорт
Strap in for another HUGE session of $1/2 No-Limit Hold'em! This one takes place the day after Thanksgiving at The Lodge in Texas, where we smash some flops, hit our draws, and get maximum value out of our opponents! We even find ourselves in a 3-way ALL-IN with the STONE COLD NUTS on the flop...will it hold? Watch to find out!

Wow, what an absolute sun run! Great winning session.
That soul read with the pair of 3s is impressive. Not only breaking down what the initial bettor would do but also the person acting behind you. Nice.

Thanks, Inf! It's nice when the thought process actually pans out and ends up being right. 😄
Great play, Thanks for sharing.
I liked and subbed...I loved what you said at the end.."I feel my energy start to deplete, so I decided to call it a night" This is something I've done, but need to master it, I feel this is a very important aspect of poker and self awareness to minimize losses and maximize profits.👍👍

Appreciate it! And yeah, it can be hard to call it quits sometimes, especially when you're stuck and feel like you need to win it back. But there's always tomorrow, and sometimes we all need to be reminded of that.

Thanks, Scotland! It's fun, gives me something to do. 😄
I really enjoy the low stakes blogs I'm from Melbourne Australia and ever since covid the only casino in this state has ditched the 1 / 2 and gone to 1/3 the table buy in Max has also increased from 200 to 500 so for someone like me it's daunting playing the higher stakes.

Nice vlog man. Keep up the good work. What app do you use to track your performance?

Thanks, Jeff! I use Pokerbase, which is pretty handy. It's got some nice views in there for showing progress over time, filtering by day/location/stakes/etc., and also has some other tools I should probably be using more often as well.
Like the vlog seen a few vids. You leave a lot of money out the table practically not betting the nuts on the River…. But other than that good run bud
You’re eating into profit tipping that big while winning small to medium pots.

I had another person comment that I won't be a winning player with some of the tips I give. While I agree that some of my tips have been on the generous side, I don't agree with that comment overall. I do agree that I'm eating into profits though, and I think people in Texas more often just tip more. The action is crazier than elsewhere from what I understand, I think it's potentially more profitable in the end, so I'm not _too_ worried about it. All that said, in my most recent session, I tipped $2 every hand I won with the exception of the biggest pot I've ever won, (which will be in the next vlog), where I tipped $10.
How many hours to get to 6,700?

Maybe next time I'll get some cards and hit some flops! 😄
It’s funny how you called “some” of your holdings, “weak holdings”, the fact is that almost all your holdings were weak. You just had a lucky day. Question, did you play the lottery that day?
Hey bro I like your channel it looks like you play at the same place alot but PLEASE stop showing your hands when you don't have to, good players pick up on that, on the other hand great job one other thing you should is you should bet more often instead of waiting for players to bet for you most rec players are passive and you would be winning double what your winning because the players you play with seem like they are not as patient as you this is just constructive criticism I've been playing for 15 years and I wish you all the luck bro

Hey Frankie, thanks for watching and sharing your perspective. I definitely agree there are spots I need to bet more instead of waiting for bets, and I felt that way watching some of the hands in my latest session. Gonna be working on mixing up some play more when I've got a made hand.
Luck beats skill every time
You didn't bluff much if at all, you played your hand and it didn't cost you any dumb bets

It's easy to do that when the cards come!
