I think that, if the country you are in allows you to develop mature life experiences in your 20's, turning an official adult after 25 is much better than 21 in most countries. At 21, we're still highly immature to make most big decisions in our life.

My guess would be that AC is not there probably because of tradition, not because they didn't need it at the time the buildings was built or because of climate change. Most buildings in paris was built before AC was invented, ;P and they just kept it like that. I couldn't help to giggle when you said that. :D My guess would be because AC is ugly, and they value beauty over being hot. If they still build new buildings without AC, I would guess its just traditions to not have it. Maybe? It's just a guess. 😅🥰 Anyways congratulations from Portugal! Happy birthday Nora!

you forgot the fact that people used to stay out a lot, and also that weather also used to be cooler. as for new buildings without ac is just cost cutting lol
