I like how realistic you’re making the challenge. It’s like giving us a deeper look into vintage reselling. Covering gas, food, shipping, and other expenses. Keep it up mane!!
I see the inspo from Ryan’s videos but you know Jacob always make enjoyable video

For sure inspired by Ryan. I did have this idea before I saw his video, really I saw ConnorTV do it first who was inspired this concept, but Connor was clearly inspired by Ryan so Ryan is still the Jesus Christ of the penny challenge which means any penny challenge is inspired by him. plus watching his videos inspired me to do it now instead of just putting it off until later.

Mann, the pieces you can find in US thrift stores are out of this world. We literally don't have anything like that, not only in my city but even in Czech Republic as a whole. I love watching what you find tho and the idea is great, keep it up!
Yeah!!! After Paul finished his channel there’s been a Void in my heart for this kinda challenge.
Thanks for always giving us quality content to watch, much love my boy!
Hey Jacob I have to thank you I started selling vintage from watching your Chanel I live in Houston and all the amazing things you have achieve currently I am selling on depop and is going good and this challenge was a perfect example that you can start with nothing and turn it in to something.
I love this idea. A great twist on The penny challenge
This man’s videos continue to bring joy to my life man. 🎉 love from the UK.
Woolrich and Pendleton are some of my favorite brands of all time. Absolutely amazing and I'm actually glad a lot of people sleep on them so I can scoop them up at the thrift 😂
love the content always. Got me hitting the thrifts often!!!
Love this kind of series my man, new viewer and subbed GL on the journey
Woolrich is such a fantastic brand, you're absolutely right they are underrated. Didn't they also collab with Supreme and Stussy? Update: yes, they did
Really enjoy your content and you seem like a good person. Acknowledging Ryan's efforts and contributing to donations is just extra. Liked and subsribed.
I’ve been watching Ryan’s videos n you are my favorite KZreadr soooo you doin this put a big smile on my face
Love everything you do Jacob! See you in plus1

okay, now this is a series I can get behind yessir
Dope vid idea. Another banger 💯
Gonna be a banger series🌠🌠
fire series!!🔥🔥
you are an inspiration man, would love to be able to learn from you.
I'm really glad you pointed out the sheer scale of items at goodwill outlets. When I go bins diving I see name brand stuff get rotated out even with resellers, regular shoppers etc. All going through it. There is just so much stuff! Clothing in particular is essentially valueless in the states and it ends up chunked no matter what it costs new. I do a lot of cleaning and reselling vintage plushies and it's the same with them. That $65 fully kitted out build a bear is what I'm fishing out the bins when your kid get tired of it.
super hype for this series
I always say the same thing MAKE YOUR OWN GRAIL!!! So many people sleep on those brands when they have the fire prints 🔥thanks for this video drop!! Love from Jersey ❤❤🤟🏽
Yessir always a banger plus 1 gang
such a great video, keep it up
Your boy Paul has been doing this challenge!
You my fav drug dude...im really happy everytime you drop new video and i take ispiration by you
I'm so jealous of anyone that lives that close to bins in which to shop

I've never seen a place like this before. Do you need to reserve a spot or can you just show up?
THIS IS FIRE!!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I’m about to do the same with whatnot and film it 🙌🏾💯 turning 100$ to 1000$

Dope content. What platforms do you sell these clothes on?
Don’t know for sure but I think chad with a j is also a guy who started this challenge a few years back.
yo that "got meth" shirt goes crazy lmfao!!
Maybe stupid question coming from this old lady… but I have a bunch of single stitch t-shirts from the bins. How should I sell them? Don’t feel like listing each one separately. Single stitch doesn’t do well for me. Thanks
I just let KZread make my thumbnails....but I do appreciate the great thumbnail you made for this one.... Oh wait...I need to sit down, the commercials are over and the movie is starting.
The outlets here in Florida do not throw away the clothing, they get bailed up and sent to other countries.
I love the video but what site did you use to sell everything
How do you start selling thes e8 have so many shirts and all the resellers give me nothing where do you sell
How do you know what to price the clothes when you sell them?
“Is it drugs in this pocket, no it’s cocaine” 😭
🔥🔥🔥
I hear my Mac Miller, I subscribe.
I absolutely love this challenges 😍

There’s no way you’d get $70 for that used carhartt jacket.
@starrlife
2 жыл бұрын
Look on grailed for vintage USA made Carhartt jackets. Some of the other styles like the Detroit jackets go for 120-150 even. They are good quality jackets and a lot of people prefer the older used ones because they were made better and last longer.
@kendallnoble4980

@@starrlife I’m not trying to be a hater and discredit you. I’ve just always owned and wore that brand of jackets. Old and new from my grandfather handing down to a new gift to my dad for 25 years at his job just crazy to me personally think they are worth that. And would sell within minutes. If you’re pure and true in your content then I’ll respectfully be wrong. But if not that would be on your moral compass not mine. I just wanted to express my opinion is all.

@@kendallnoble4980 I don’t take it as hating at all. And like I said you can literally find them online and look at sold prices for a lot of those jackets. And they are good quality jackets. I’ve even paid 70 for them myself. I have a salmon colored one I paid 70 for.

It’s funny that you commented this and then the same day when Paul dropped the video he gave props to me. Paul is the goat, that is my brother, he is the reason I ever started thrifting and if I got something from him he knows id shout him out. That’s literally like family to me.

It depends what video you are talking about. This video was posted on June 15th, so this was before Paul Cantu started the new series. That being said, Paul did do a previous challenge where he did $1 to $1000. The idea of starting with a penny started with Ryan Trahan. But yes me and Paul are both doing a the same challenge right now but he is going to 35k so he definitely is going harder than me.
People may still be able to it ofc but not no way near as fast as you cause u already got a ”big” and trustful name people will buy from u cause its u aswell
@starrlife
2 жыл бұрын
Well when I started 10 years ago I didn’t have followers and if I let things like that discourage me and stop me from doing it I wouldn’t have what I have today and I wouldn’t have a trustful name. Obviously they may not be able to do it as fast, I say that in the videos but it is doable and saying “I don’t have the same circumstance” is not a reason to not give it a shot and make some extra side money.
Dam Caire…💔💙💙.
