I noticed y'all were pitting were we pitted for a state race and didn't run good at all. Anywhere towards the middle of the back straight or on the end to war one and two. Watching from the pits in that spot brought back a lot of good memories from when we were running which seems like a hundred years ago. Wish I understood these new fangled chassis, of course then again I didn't much to setup the car. I just changed tires and made sure the lugs were good and tight.

As a hunt to front fan I can only say it was disappointing. But clearly the new motor has more power. However weeks ago a gentleman commented back to me that the Jay Dickens motor wasn't what was holding them back. He said they need a good set-up man. Guys I think he was right on, as the year has gone on the adjustments just hasn't been good enough. The corners are killing you guys. Hopefully moving forward improvements can be made. Jonathan you need to let Jessie take over the camera and let you run 604 crate races in the future. Love to see you give it a shot. I like him but you can't do any worse. Guys it's time to step it up a bit or just don't run the big races. Just run more local races to get your set-up package better. You guys are awesome people but sometimes the truth needs to be said. You got a elite chassis and now in my opinion a elite motor. No more excuses go get a set-up man if you gonna run with the elite.

I made the comment last year after major misses just like they have had so many of this year that they are missing key people on the team like a crew chief and set up guy. They have stepped up and created this series, and they all too often show up to big events with small team mindset. Not sure how much more sub par racing they can do with these sponsors. Joey looks worn out and frustrated. Come on guys, let the ego take a little hit and get some help. Running dead last and not even finishing races is not a good look. Get some pro help now!

Imo jojo needs to work on his passing and driving in traffic. I see all the idgets in these comments saying how much Jo pushes others and offensively blocks wrong and I'm always like heck no, if anything he's too kind and generous on the track, he drives to clean, he needs some aggression when getting into lap traffic and when it comes to taking lanes in the corners and not giving up his spot so easily, and yes this can all be done while still driving clean, its done all the time.

All them guys that stay up front don’t worry about tearing the car up they drive the shit out of it. I herd him say a comment about tires how many they’ve been thru this weekend. When you race you can’t worry about that shit. I know the tires are expensive I’ve raced before I know but I never worried about blowing tires out. Especially when competing with the drivers at this level. Jordan is running himself ragged. Still having stuff fall off, come loose, transmission trouble every week. Just need at least another Jordan level or better worker. Plus a shock dyno & somebody that knows how to use it.

What will you squids cry about when they do get a crew chief and have a bad night or 2, or even several? Or a whole bad season? Every team and driver experiences these struggles. Most of you don't know that because this is the only racing you watch, or you're just choosing to believe it's only these guys. Do you think they don't know the performance is off and want to do better? Keep watching and commenting though, it helps the algorithm greatly!

@@Johnny-jw1izthat’s not how it works. There are many crew chiefs in super late model racing but you could probably count on one hand the number who truly know what they are doing, everyone else is just guessing. And with the way these cars are constantly changing, even the very few who truly understand them aren’t always dominant year to year. Most crew chiefs are unlikely to be much more knowledgeable than the guys at htf, those who understand this type of racing realize how difficult it is to win at the level they compete at.

No sense wrecking someone and their season by throwing a Hail Mary. HTF got ripped apart at whynot for being aggressive, so there's that. I disagree. Like Madden learned from Bloomquist, learn EVERY part of your raceway and what it does. Be your own setup man. They are building a notebook away from home and against great veteran competition. Results and consistency will come. If you rely on "setup men"" ie: Garrett Smith, when they leave you are lost because you didn't know the what and why they did what they did. Bloomquist had alot of great wrenches thru the years and they did what he told them to do cause he knew the car inside out!!
