Koi pond is a perfect design map for neutral comp. But comp that either has a really strong melee lockdown or long-range poke. They just get so much advantage unless you have portals to deal with melee or zone shrink into you to force long range poke.

Just a little tip. When you play brand and get a gabler's Blade as first prismatic it's like one of the best items you can get. Brand passive burn applies GB so you get like 1500+ gold per round

I’ve noticed that when given the option to spectate the matches that have both team icons highlighted are ongoing and the one with one crossed out has ended

the problem with koi pond imo is that it can more easily give the stronger teams more advantage than other maps and leaves zero comeback chances to weaker comps, especially if portal is in a bad spot

super powerful. i won as nami with the lucian partner running the stat anvil only strat. we actually won. final round wasnt even close.

I would like to point out that Full Attack Speed Belveth with sword of blossoms and echoes of helia is super fun

Koi is bad... it just is. Only thing I can see helping it is having an outside ring you can still walk on. Let the middle be chaotic, but allow for the opportunity for planned gameplay.

i think its not so easy to delete/ add arenas into this mode because of the way its structured. as far as i know, all the arenas and the shopping area are on the same "map". they are just different spawnpoints. so if you wanna add a new arena you have to replace the whole map with a new arena. if that makes sense at all. since i believe that arena will be taken out again and return after swarm, i bet koi pond wont return or in a (hopefully) different varient. but till then, we have to endure this ************* of a map.

Koi pond is either the most fun or the least fun map. Its a lil too coinflippy for me. Would be better if it was a (once in a while rare chance to get map) vs its current status as something you can get in half your rounds at worst.
