Worked on windows 10. You can still see the executable in the task manager and it uses 1.4mb of memory but everything else is 0. Thank you!

Let me tell you something about Windows Defender.... Everytime I've had this virus enabled when I installed windows 10... It's caused me nothing but headaches. Disabling my wifi for no reason, disabling my games, causing conflicts with my firewall many times and even hogging my memory at unnecessary times scanning without my knowledge and gives me absolutely no updates as to when it's going to scan or do anything. It's like a hidden software that just infects everything I do and I absolutely hate that trash software. I hate it so much that come next year I'm going straight to linux. I'm not even going to bother with Windows 11 because I know that virus is prepackaged on there too. No thanks Microshaft. Anyways though... Thank you tremendously for saving me so many headaches showing how to disable this garbage. I hate it. I definitely gave your video a like. Also that music sounds awesome.

Thanks for your help. This works well. After adding the registry entry, reboot the device and all is well. I had this issue since a windows update a day or so ago but now resolved.

To whoever is confused it only works for windows 10.. The 2023 windows 11 system won't let you turn off the real-time protection whatsoever. Thank you windows for not letting us use our own computers :)

ooooo so i was wrong i was thinking the ways to turn it back on bc i press something wrong and it was the turn on when i misslick to press it i cant turn it on do u know how to fix it if u do u will be a big help thats all

if you watch the entire vid he says "if you want to enable windows defender again just make the value 0 again.

I restarted my computer and Defender is active again.

Google dcontrol or defender control, you can toggle it on or off with 1 click, no more background running nonsense from defender, useless bloatware. These stupid videos make me sick with same old bad advice registry entry dword value that dont work or toggle off realtime setting that re-enables on restart.

When adding new d word, DisableAntiSpyware with value 1 to windows defender in the registry the new d word is delete when the Window 11 system is restarted. Useless
