Wow! That 1982 as a DPU was screaming down the tracks. Talk about working hard :) It looked like that last manifest with the two KCS engine lashup was sanding like anything - maybe that was on an uphill grade. Darn cool for sure!

Darryl: ExCEPtional!!! Great catches, especially those EMD’s - old and new - in the lead, in trail, or as DPU - the only locomotives worthy of the name! MOPAC 1982 was like finding a hidden treasure. Great work on capturing the infrastructure and the surroundings as well. Keep it up! You’re inspiring me to get out to those sites myself.

Before the merger we use to call the Missouri Pacific the mop when it merged with Union Pacific we called it the mop up. That 710G3 engine sounds great
