@getdance Monica, I am glad I’ve found your tutorials 🤩. It’s time for me to refine and elevate my club “dancing” moves. I can manage some basic steps and arm moves on the dance floor but have never been good at hip figure 8 or other roll/twist-like movements. With faster beating songs I just basically do all that you don’t recommend doing 🙈to not look awkward (don’t panic - I never ever twerk - thats a very complex move 😁 and find it rather vulgar). When the DJ plays rock music I usually just jump or pound out of pure music joy or make wide steps and quick abrupt arm movements. I normally wear relaxed elegant clothing, never mini skirts or dresses that are too short. Almost always high heels. In the end of January 2024 I plan to go to a (hunters’) ball which requires a formal attire. Black tie, not a white tie. I know the DJ will be playing 70s, 80s, 90s, slow, pop and some rock music. I will be wearing a black simple long sleeveless fitted dress and high heels. Will need to sort through your videos and learn some dance moves that will look feminine, flowy and sexy… unless you you have a tip for me for the link of how to dance in a long fitted (knit) dress ☺️.

An easy “backwards, alternating, small shoulder roll”, or “lift”; while moving the forearms from waist to head-level, is REALLY EASY to make look SEXY while just grooving “side-to-side/“ANY “step-touch”!!!!
