For many decades, The Turkish league 🇹🇷⚽️ has been a respected European competition at a very high level. Its leading representatives, including teams from Istanbul: Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Galatasaray, have regularly participated in Champions League in recent years and established themselves on the continent. The latter, at the turn of the century, even won the UEFA Cup and the European Super Cup.
Nowadays, Turkey boasts modern and charming venues that are among the most unique in Europe. Even smaller teams, which historically did not mean much, play an important role on the stadium map of Turkey. In the meantime, the league has evened out a lot, with Bursaspor and Basaksehir each winning the championship since 2010, and Trabzonspor having the best chance to triumph this season.
