2 reasons: the ref didn’t give the panalty, 3 yellow cards and 1 red card to Holland + on the second half the technical teams decision to play defensive for a prolonged time and do a last minute change which should have been done on the 60-70th minute mark.

They made it really fun to watch definitely and they were really fighting, but tbh their physical condition was actually not that good. Most of those teams would fall back after the first half because they were out of energy from running so much.

Turkish team need to keep up with this standard and be great like the women's volleyball team.

I didn't understand why a powerful team like Turkiye played extremely defensive at the second half. They could easily dominate all the game if they have played just as they did during last ten minutes because everyone knows that they have this potential, that was just weird but this was definitely something to do with their coach.

As a Turk, I wholeheartedly congratulate the Netherlands. The friendly attitude of the Dutch made us Turks very happy. We Turks love everyone who loves us. However; I hope all of Europe will see the discrimination against us in this tournament. We observe the general attitude of our player and the referees, who were suspended for 2 matches as a result of the German lobbies putting pressure on UEFA for using our national symbol. I hope Europeans with good hearts see this too. Personally, I have no problem with Germans. However, there is something I want to say to the Germans who make the mistake of looking down on us; "You are the ones who are cynical and you definitely have problems with your social capacity. You should get out of your modernist mindset because you look very primitive."

Turkey have been the best team. They were unlucky. Well done to the manager. They knew what they were doing. 2-1 is very respectable. Our tecnical director Montella, the director of little clubs... lost this match for nothing. we had x2 potential than Holland. He really doesnt know how to read the game. For a while, Holland team almost surrendered but our team keeps stupid defence... we could make 2-3 easily. First goal of Holland was coming and everyone saw that expect our coach.. After 2. goal our coach still defensive thinking without any subs... he made 2 changes in last 10 mins... cant believe we gifted this match. you can lose a game it is ok but this is not the way of losing a match.. COngrats to Holland and good luck to all teams...

İt was not Montella, it was the team that played too defensive. This is a psychological factor. Turkiye has many young players, so it is normal. They still don't have that experience how to handle in such situations. But tye team got experience and i am sure this team will become even stronger in future because they showed really class football. But Turkiye has one big problem and this is lack of discipline a nd professionality. Everyone can make mistakes but you can not always blame the coach. When players make mistakes it's the players fault, but then everyone blames again the coach because he let him play. See Samet, everyone criticized the coach and at the end he scored for the team and gave everything. You can't do that. İt was Montellas success to bring the team into the quarter finals, to win the hated Samet and Merih for the team. There are too many false experts who never had a success that make nonsense comments that blame always the coaches. İ won't listen to them anymore. They are just talking stupid for rating. İf they would know something better then why don't they lead a team to success. Talk is cheap my friend.

This man is ignorant. Montella picked up this team in the middle of euro qualifiers and top the group ahead of Croatia and Wales to qualify for euros. Got out to the group with points on par with Portugal. Beat one of tournament favourite that’s Austria to advice to quarter finals. You were expecting to win the euros? Get real!Success doesn’t come easy and certainly doesn’t come in 6 months of coaching. Give montella time and see this team flourish. I’m Turkish and our community wants success without effort and time. Life doesn’t work this way. Montellas done well by me and I’d like to see him keep coaching Turkey.

Devşirme derken? İngiliz ve Fransızların bir kısmı zaten siyahi, az çok tarihleri ile alakalı bir şey (bkz. sömürgecilik). Yani oyuncuların bir kısmının siyahi olması çok normal. I watched this game in NYC. I am so proud to be a Turkish. We gave it all and entertained football fans. The next stop world cup

Congratulations to the Dutch team. They played well and showed that they were gentlemen at the end of the video. The Turkish national team is a young team, we watched their inexperience yesterday in a part of the match. If that second goal had not come at that minute and so quickly, the situation could have been different. There was great bad luck at the end of the match. If one of the players had gone into the goal, the Turkish team could have gained time, attacked more and perhaps taken the match to extra time and won the match. I respect my country's team. They excited us by fighting to the end. The spirit they display shows the need to respect them

Don't be to sad Turkiye, this team has a bright future, they didn't play like lions but like titans, deep respect and 🖕 UEFA for that stupid ban Greets from a Dutchie
