Thanks for another excellent rules explanation, Tarrant! I look forward to trying this when it becomes available. So far, my favorite puzzle deduction game is Search for Planet X

This was brilliant. Many thanks! My favourite deduction games so far are Alchemists and The Search for Planet X, but I've just pre-ordered Turing Machine. Do you think you'll be making a video about deduction strategies for Turing Machine? I do hope so. Your Alchemists deduction video was incredibly useful. Thanks again!

Hi Jon, thank you so much for your kind words! Ohhh Those two are really great games! That is a good question about strategy tips. We thought about it but hasnt got time to do it or prepare how we're going to do that, but we'll think about it more. Thank you for the visit!

I also love Alchemists and Planet X. Check out Break the Code and The Shipwreck Arcana for smaller box deduction games that give a similar brain burn!

4:13 Why do you say ''yellow is less than 4'' ? Why is it specifically that part of the question that is answered? Is it because yellow is not the highest number in the sequence? If so, and you already knew it, why do you ask the game? (Or is it just as an example). Just trying to understand how the question and answer bit works!

Yes as a sample that anyone (hopefully) would understand first, explaining the logic :)

If there are only 3-digit codes with numbers between 1 and 5 then there can't be a lot of codes I suppose.

Having never played the game, surely the number of codes is increased by the fact that the numbers are different colours no?

  • @omfglongbeach

Late reply here, but even though there are only 125 codes, you'll never be able to play every possible game because there are so many combinations of clue cards from the potential clue deck, meaning that one game with the solution "111" will not play the same as any other game with a "111" solution.
