I'm fans of both, i'm subscribed to both their youtube channels. I would usually say I can't decide, but today, I think it goes to Merrick. Sorry Jun. Jun is normally better and does a lot more popping like Merrick does. Maybe it's because he has casts on so he can't do the wave or anything. I remember having a cast of my arm and it was hard to do popping because a lot of the moves are done with your arms.

I love Merrick he's amazing, so cute and sweet. He's my favourite but, I can't lie poppin Jun was on fire and well done for dancing with 2 broken wrists. No need to hate on eather one of them they are trying their best and I understand the Judges dessision as Poppin June did so well. Though Merrick is why I clicked on the video. I didn't know of Poppin Jun before this video.

Poppin Jun won fair and square, and I was there, it was a powerful dance, his energy was on high, and his dedication to the art even with his wrists injured, says so much. I wish more people admired both dancers for going into the battle, and instead of saying you wish Merrick won, or think he deserved to win, enjoy and admire the battle and RESPECT THE RESULTS. I loved seeing Merrick dance too, his energy upped the game, so did Poppin Jun, it's that mix that is magical. Battles like this push both dancers to go big, to improve, and there will always be one winner and one who doesn't win but evolves their art after the battle. A little healthy competition pushes us all to be better. So please, don't be a sore loser, and let's all agree on how much we love dance, and how much Poppin Jun blew us all away that day.

NachoGenie Actually the judges at the end gave the win to Poppin Jun, and I get that. I think Jun showed more character and got more into a battle mode than Merrick did. He had more musicality and was able to work the crowd up more with his moves. Also, all of Merrick's music kind sounded the same. Of course Merrick is great though, I just think the judges were right this time with picking Jun

Merrick needs to work a lot harder and harder to catch up Popping Jun. Popping Jun is experienced and can dance like a world class champ. If you know something about dancing and not just being a fool fan then you can tell from the first round the big difference between them.

Dude I am a dancer myself! I can clearly see Jealousy in Poppin Jun. Jun is a legend but Merrick danced better this time. Merrick doesnt repeats his moves. Jun repeats his moves alot like he always just lifts up his hands. It was boring and dull. P.S. he took so much time just to try to rip Merrick apart which he couldn't

@@majo9145 I am a dancer too. Merrick repeated a lot in this battle as well. His rounds were full of arm waves and body waves and the same popping moves each time. His music sounded the same each round. Jun switched it up each time and had better musicality overall. It's ironic u complain Jun took so long to rip Merrick but didn't, bc the judges unanimously picked Jun as the winner, so it seems he did and his methods worked. Also, battles at Turfinc are the full song. It wasn't that Jun took awhile, it was Merrick shortening his own rounds. Jun is a battle dancer. He has been battling since he was very young. Merrick has battled a bit but not as much. Jun knows what battle behavior is like. You're mistaking jealousy for battle behavior. Idk why Jun would be jealous, they are friends. This battle was before AGT

Saw this before AGT, but I'm still watching. Still a go-to. I've been a big fan of Poppin' Jun and was first introduced to Merrick from this video through Jun. Then I saw Merrick on AGT and I was like "Hey, I know that guy! YES!" Then I watched the audition back on KZread and discovered other videos of his like that one he did on Nickelodeon and his "So You Think You Can Dance" audition. I subscribed to his Facebook page too. He is amazing! Jun did rightfully win this battle, but Merrick's moves were super clean too. They were on the same level as Fik-Shun. He is my pick to win on AGT this season.

I think we should acknowledge that both of these kids are incredibly talented. They also have different styles. Merick is more free flowing and loose, the other kid has a much more aggressive dance style. I love Merick, but I gotta say this other kid is awesome too.

There is no debate, Jun was dancing, Merrick was doing a choregraphy. I know none of those guys, but seeing the comments it looks like " Merrick " has some community behind him, but you guys should learn to accept when your " idol " lost. He was clearly under Jun, the first round of Merrick was a pain to watch. It looked like he had " power moves " to fit the beat, and that he kept waiting between the moments in the beat where he can fit his " powermoves "..
