Where do you get all the carriages with people from?

This turbo train is coming to our house today. Just discovered Brio a few weeks ago and it's a great way to spend time with my 2 and 4 yr old. Two questions 1) Is there a non-Brio train that offers up more power? 2) the two year old gravitates toward the road pieces and uses his match box cars -- is there another brand of road that will integrate with Brio?

The Brio road pieces are non-existent. So, here in U.S., buying extra not an option.

How is the turbo train for you? Its still our favourite battery train. We haven't explored off brand trains as yet, but its been requested before so its something we will look into in the future. Unfortunately road on its own as an expansion set is no longer sold and only available in the road and rail sets or deluxe sets now. We have seen other road that is a similar width to the BRIO road pieces. I can't think of the brand off hand, but will re-comment when we find it. Enjoy the time with the little ones, we were doing something similar with our then 2 year old. His sister is now starting to get into BRIO now so we get to do it all over again with her now, while we see him build bigger and better tracks

@@BRIOAdventure Love the turbo train, the kids are loving it more and more --- keep up the great videos -- you have given us great ideas on stackable supports as we let the tracks and trains lift vertically -- fun even for me as an old dad of 51 years age..

We bought it yesterday, it's great but battery is draining in 10 minutes. is that normal?

That has not been our experience, but we have had issues with certain batteries not working in it. Rechargeable batteries for example don't work in this train but do in others.

Have you had any issues with the battery hatch? I’m on my 2nd replacement unit because the first two the screw stripped and wouldn’t come out so I could no longer open the hatch.

No, I can't say I have had that experience, but I have read online that others have had that happen. Must be a batch issue I guess...? Have you managed to sort it out with BRIO?

Thanks, was abit of a rush turning it around in 24hours, but hoping to do a follow up shortly comparing it against some of the other battery trains. Was there anything we missed that you would have liked to have seen? 👀

Yes! For sure, after it pulled 10 loaded passenger trains we want to know what it's capable of on flat, inclined and ascending straights, and see how it compares to others!

What’s the approximate scale, speed of the train and turbo mode going off of track gauge?

Hey, not sure what you mean by scale? Just in compared to other BRIO trains? You can see it in action in this video here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/enuqsc-fZ7LUp7A.htmlsi=S587BhDUbc7ulYnq its pretty good at staying on gauge at Turbo Speed, and compared to other trains, its about as fast as the Mighty Action Locomotives at normal speed, and is around twice as fast for the 5 seconds of Turbo Speed. We will look to do a comparison video in the future to show its speed side-by-side to other trains.
