We remove the ABS module and plumb new brake lines do we can fit the turbo. We also begin relocating the p/s reservoir and install our billet intake manifold.

    Looking good you guys. It's really nice to see the "real world" problems that folks run into when going from N/A to boosted. Just changing one part can cascade into multiple other mods just to make that part fit/work. Your original intake wouldn't work, but the new one creates problems too. Thanks for showing what it "really" takes to do something like this.

    Gotta love the cheap turbo manifolds. I have a similar one and have the same issue but I have more engine bay clearance that the Lexus so I was able to fit a silicone 90 but it's still tight fit. Is there a way I can contact yall more directly other than comments. Keep up the good work

    Do you happen to remember what brand proportioning valve you used for the abs delete?

    I used a wilwood manual valve. This one I think. www.summitracing.com/parts/wil-260-8419?seid=srese1&gclid=CjwKCAiA_tuuBhAUEiwAvxkgTgS_Qi_V7rDi6MJSjBse4B6ok0-RuPcfvSOiH9xHZqSYBKg4-X3doxoC3_oQAvD_BwE

    So did you end up needing the abs module you were debating on keeping to connect the sensor or you don’t need it?

  • @masterofmachines

    @masterofmachines

    Жыл бұрын

    The module under the hood is not needed for speedo. The abs module is located under drivers side dash and it calculates speeds based on wheel speed sensor data. It does require all wheel speed sensors to work

    any side effects to the tachometer? did you leave the abs module plugged?

  • @masterofmachines

    @masterofmachines

    No, the tach signs comes from the ignition control module. It’s one of the reasons I still run waste spark instead of cop. Also, Speedo operation was normal.

    The intake has been perfect. I’d guess were probably only making 300-350 hp atm. Running 15psi.

    I relocated my ecm to where the washer reservoir used to be. I think I talk about it briefly in my vid about installing the micro squirt ecm. Didn’t require any modification to the harness.

    What fitting did you use for the pump?

    I bought one meant for a 95 Supra, but it pointed straight at the manifold so I had to modify it. I think drift motion has a better option that I’d use if I did it again.
