Watching how things have changed over the last 20 years since I use to run my BA GT at Heathcote , mind you full weight street tyres low 12 at 115mph, man unless you're running 8-9s your cars slow it seems, back then 11s,12s was quick for anything new..boy have things changed,🥺, still can't believe we use to drive to Heathcote on Saturday spend all day racing then drive home close to midnight dodging kangaroo's on the way home, good ol days

kW is common speak in Melbourne. KPH should never be used in drag racing. ☺️

Another great video, thank you boys. Drag racing is a sport native to the US and should always be measured in mph in my view. Using Koh is just confusing. Does anyone know what’s happening with the timing boards at HPR? Obviously being replaced but not sure when or with what exactly.

One thing I never understood about Australian drag racing is that it seems that half of the cars are four doors and unless it's a car you drive around frequently. What is the point of having a four door drag car? Yeah it's unique. Yeah it's bitchin, but is it practical to make a heavier car go fast in a straight line when a lighter two door needs less power to beat you. I can see if it's a shit box and or a goofy build but these cars are all done up nice with tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars into them when you can go faster in a 2 door. This question does not include any of the dailies and ot frequently driven cars, just the cars driven on the track. Not taking any jabs that you guys all the cars are cool as shit, just why?

Many of the cars sold here were only 4 doors unlike in the USA were everything came in a coupe.
