Thanks for making this video, my mandolin is still in the box and it’s probably been at least a year since I bought it. I will have to give it a try!

I learned a safe way to clean it...by using a brush instead of a sponge or cloth. Going to buy a brush today!

I had a hard time seeing the area closest to the camera, as the light seemed much too bright and blurred the details. I kept tilting my screen (viewing on laptop), but that didn't help. I do appreciate the instructions. A bit much on the laughter, though.

If the guider featured compartments into which you could fit your whole hand, you'd have a game changer. At least there wouldn't be any way to slice off your fingertips. Christmas gift, 1996.

Thank you for the info packed demo. I just purchased one not long ago. I used it on day one to make crinkle cut scalloped potatoes and slicing block cheese into thin slices for a charcuterie board.

So i have used the mandolin for almost 2 years and only used the strait blade, but after watching your video im going to try the other blade, by looking at this video i realised that it's not that hard, hopefully. I just love my mandolin, i slice sallad, cabbage, tomatos, cucmber and a lot more and now i'ts going to be even more stuff that i can do. LOVE your video, Hug and kisses form sweden

Thanks for explaining all the features. I have had One for a few years and been too afraid to use it. I lost part of my thumb with a pampered chef one.😳😂

Thanks so much for the detailed demo! Our Team Leader demod it. He is a pro! But I like that I can watch you anytime. I saved your demo and shared it with my unit on whatsapp! Did you spray any oil on your fries?

Something I did not learn after watching tons of tutorials on the mandoline is how to shred. I want to make carrot salad, potato pancakes, coleslaw, not french fries!

If you want stringy coleslaw, you could thin cut your cabbage wedges on it. It's not really intended as a shredder. I use my food processor with the shredding disc on it to shred potatoes, carrots and cheese. For coleslaw, I more finely chop my cabbage, carrots and onions. I just noticed people seem to enjoy the coleslaw more finely chopped.
