Yo dude! Thanks! Love your edits so that means a lot! I frickin' love Enshrouded, reminds me playing Valheim when I was fresh to it: time just disappears! Not sure I find the actual gameplay super comparable. Lonnnnng term if you put a fang spear to my head I'd maybe have to go with Valheim. Saw your latest 😂, dabbled with Enshrouded any further? How you liking it?

@@ThreadMenace Great to hear you're enjoying it that much! Honestly, I haven't been able to play games much this last week or so, but I'm really keen to get into it properly.

if the goal is to get up high, when you right click when flying it will stop you. Hitting spacebar after right click will make you fly again and you can boost up ... again. You can do that over and over and get how-ever high you wish. If you miss the spacebar you fall for a second. Its almost at the same time you right click and spacebar ... ALMOST at the same time.

Getting up high is definitely part of it. Part of me just thinks tunneling is cool too, haha, and I appreciate the speed of the rake as opposed to the standard pickaxe you could find in any game or even the applications of the build hammer that are kind of unique to this game. I can't say I've tried the precise method you've described here, so I definitely wanna take a look at that. I have had a good deal of luck getting up rather steep slopes with just the glider and space bar though. But there are several places where the game presents you with *sheer* cliffs and I'm starting from a place of skepticism that that method could get one up the cliffs that are shown at like 2:15 (without updraft/mana regen fanciness)

Who needs roads when having a rake 😂 nice one, especially for early game. Later I think it's easier with glider and abuse of uplift skill (or whatever it is called in EN) with staff and mana ring...

"Updraft" in EN. And yeah, I think you're right. The rake does unlock super early now though! It used to be level 5, now it's as soon as you pick up a stick and a stone and place a workbench! A lot of people said in my first rake video that the devs are going to nerf it but I honestly believe they'll nerf updraft before they nerf the rake! We shall see!

How do you like this compared to Valheim? Is Valheim superior in your eyes? I’m still convinced Valheim is the best game ever made.

If I answer this question are you then gonna try to make me choose between pizza and burritos?! I will say that Valheim will probably have more staying power for me. It's got lots of exciting stuff around the corner but it's in a bit of a lull at the moment and I'm really reeeeally enjoying Enshrouded!

One thing you have to remember is Valheim has been out for 3 years now, and this is just the early access for Enshrouded. So this is like comparing apples to oranges at this point. I see a huge potential for Enshrouded and as long as the Devs continue to take player feedback like they have so far, who knows how good this game can get.

Enshrouded far exceeds Valheim for me. While Valheim has some great things and is very good, Enshrouded avoids basically every complaint I had with Valheim be it respawning resources, no weight limits, and a lot more overall freedom. I understand some of those mechanics are in Valheim to encourage exploring, base and outpost building and each game has its strengths.
