A few NES games have that jingle too, surprising how close it is to arcade and other platforms. It's alternating and overlapping 2 square waves.

Such a great rendition that respects the original's vibe.

How? HOW do you get the N163 playing MORE than 1 waveform at any given time? Looking inside the FTM I found a part where the N163 is playing a PWM sound and a saw wave at the same time. I could never make that work.

using 15 wave phase, you make 15 waveforms, then use the Vxx command or make a wave (I mean wave preset macro).

I'm not the creator of this, but I'm sure it's fine since he didn't compose or publish the song. I recommend you credit the original composer (Yusuke Takahama) as well as Nintendo if you plan to publish your Cubase rendition, however.

Yes, same wavetable chip. N163 has 8 channels, 4-240 step presets, and 16 wave presets, while HuC6280 has only 4 wave presets.
