Tuning the Tikka T3 - How to replace the trigger spring

Tuning up Bobs Tikka T3 Super Varmint , Here we replace the factory Trigger spring for a aftermarket spring and manage to get the break down to about 1-1/2 pounds. This is a key point in accurizing the rifle. If you are not comfortable in doing this, refer to a local gunsmith.

Nice when long range or competitive shooting. I'll be ordering one for my Tikka T3 CTR 308. Have you had any issues with it?
Did not have a drop test after spring changed?
any light primer strikes after this upgrade

Too bad Tikka doesn't do this before you buy! Comb raiser interferes with bolt on 308!
If you can't shoot a bloody rifle with the 2 lbs you had, you've got a problem! Sako state that the trigger weight shoud be a minimum of 2 lbs for a reason! Perhaps you'd shoot better if you ditched the drink?

Old comment but any of my ounce triggers with a drink would make you look silly at the range. Hunting is one think bench shooting is a whole different animal

varminteruk Shot my T3 today and adjusted the trigger to 2 lb from 3lb. I thought it was good.
