The settings of these gasoline rc are a bit long to do but once you find the right setting it's the best, good job !!

The mirage was the first of the eb4 buggy platform .. I still got 2 of them here and a buggy for spares ... factory settings are all screws flush in their housings and throttle gap just under 1mm for idle

Excellent. I would not mess with idle and low speed needle. Leave 1mm gap open from turning Idle needle. Just adjusting for speed on high speed needle. You like to go fast! LOL

Looking good bud! I have to say a quick pull in and flip of the gas cap and a quick fill sure beats waiting almost a hour for a battery to charge! Long live nitro!!

Nitro seems sooooo cool. Would you recommend getting one? T-maxx's are like 120-200 near me and I have knowledge of tuning motors and RCs. The only issue I have is maintenance costs

@@brysonkuhn3290 Hi if you like tinkering around with a real motor they are very fun to run and the sound they make is just awesome. The downside now a days due to brushless and lipo batteries the nitro fuel got expensive because it's not as popular as it used to be, I found VP fuels 20% basher blend on amazon for a quart it was under $15.00 shipped which is a good price compared to most other qurt nitro blends and VP supposed to be really good stuff. I used to get a gallon back in the day for $20.00 bucks!

@@ShenRC yeah lipo w/ brushless is easier and cheaper to run for similar speed. I've never driven a nitro but it's seems like its more of the feeling you get driving it rather than actual performance stats

Either way you got the best end of the deal a great vintage hard to get car for a trailer you can build anytime. Are you trying to get a toe modeling job lately. That's cool dude, The Thunder Tiger runs like a real performance car or old school muscle car, it pops and buzzes, surprised flames didn't shoot out of the exhaust like a real race car 😀. I have an Audi S5 that runs like crap until it warms up and the valves open up then it sings and gets you to 60mph in about 4 seconds.
