Amazing information, thank you to everyone. I'm an amateur driver that enjoy doing his own car setup just as much as driving.

So on a road course. Would front tires have different damper bump setting from one another or should they be the same? Same question about rebound. I know that Bump and Rebound will be different. But it’s more side to side that I’m curious about.

If you are fine tuning, Yes yo can have different settings. All depend on the track and the amount of turns to the left and right.

Wow one big reason why smooth is faster...if ur not smooth its hard to keep tune with your car...it just takes focus though...tuning your head to pay attention and a little practice to feel that area u want to figure out...I'd have to believe are seat of the pants is difficult to use because ur thinking nice clean but fast thru a section mite mean more grip and a bumpy ride but its still hooked up and did its job...not drive like a cadi...hah hah...good stuff....

I've been into racing for as long as I can remember. I first hopped into a gokart 5 years ago at an amusement park and got hooked. My local track has 60mph ka 100 karts for rental, and I've been using then for years. I watched your karting video, and I planned to comment this there but comments where disabled, so I am here now. Anyways, I wanted to know what I needed to do to move forward in a racing career on a tight budget and schedule, as I am still a sophomore in high school. Any tips? Any recommendations on a good starting car or kart? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a great day!

Karting has long been the first step, but even that has become very expensive. McLaren CEO Zac Brown thinks eSports is a good inexpensive way to hone your skills. We've interviewed many of the world's best drivers and they all say the most important ingredient is Desire

Karting, karting and more karting. And do not overthink things. Just race a lot. Then race more. People geek out on motor sports too much. What is the right line? Should I apex early or late. ALL BS. You will figure that stuff out instantly in a race. Find the fastest guy...and work your ass of to stay with him. If you are the fastest guy you need to find tougher competition. That is all there is to it.
