Ditto that. Since 2016.
at the end of this tutorial series you should do a mini trick series where you start at beginner tricks and move up to your favorite advanced tricks.

Man you are a legend... I've been flying from a few years and gone through a lot of videos but no one every explained it the way you do. Really appreciate your effort and time. I hope in near future I get a chance to fly with you...
Steel, Thank you for doing everything you do for our hobby. Your a great ambassador for how to do things the right way. I got into flying quads using your previous series as a guide and it's severed me well to this day. I'm excited to see what the rest of this version has in store. A full on tuning section would be amazing.
Thank you. I'm very inexperienced at fpv, so I'm loving your videos, they are a fantastic help. Very appreciated ❤
Yo Steele, these videos you have been doing are really useful. I'm glad you have decided to make these. I'm looking forward to seeing more. Keep up the good work brotha.
Thankyou Steele! Your videos are really appreciated man.
Same here, you help into the fpv world , I thank you for all your help and the footage you done
Finally someone taught me what I needed to know thanks man most youtubers in my opinion either go too deep explaining or not deep enough today you did exactly what I needed Thanks!
Thank you so much! Your videos are so much better at explaining things! You're calm descriptions are easy to follow!
Thanks a lot!! This really helped! Been Messi g with PID for a few days, but this IS definitely what’s making the difference
Thank you so much I was trying to fly my drone and crashed multiple times and trying to tune it. Out of all the videos I’ve watched yours has help me the most.
dude i am so thankful for this series, when i first started looking into getting into this hobby the first video that came up was a guy being very monotone and kind of shitty about getting into this, never mentioned a sim, blurted out the number $1300 within the first few minutes as if that would be the cheapest starting point, and just came across as gatekeeper ish. I appreciate this a lot because you show you don't need a professional drone immediately just to get a feel for the hobby
I’m building my first quad after seeing your videos three months ago. I’ll be coming back to your tutorials over and over again I’m sure. Thanks mate!
As always awesome educational content! I been flying almost three years now since i watched your first video. And i learn some new things from this video myself.. thanks for taking your time to make these videos. They are priceless info when your first getting into fpv.
This video was so helpful in helping me dive into rates. Now after about 6 weeks I have finally gotten comfortable with adjusting rates to meet different flying needs - freestyle vs. flying indoors etc. I was finally able to do flips and rolls with greater confidence and skill. Thank you!
This video is such a help i have been flying for a year or more since watching you and this video is great to understanding rates thatnks so much!!
loving that your pumping out the content.... little kage has been loving it!!! thanks mate :)
Thank you so much. This helps alot!!! Please keep them coming!
So helpful! I was struggling a bit in the sim but adjusted as you recommended and much better! Also great info for someone looking to get into FPV flying! Thank you!
2 years in the hobby and this video is still very useful
thanks so much for this video. It is the best video i have found on this subject. You are the reason I am getting into fpv
Love these tutorials, thanks Mr. Steele!
Your original how to FPV vids were what set me up right! Would love to see this series go from this to extremely advanced (i.e. that sharp motion when you change directions. it looks robotic and beautiful 😍)
Very helpful! I’ve been needing some education on this subject. Thank you brother! Keeping the video on just rates made this a lot easier to understand.
Thank you Mr. Steele. This was very well done. I learned.
Thanks for putting together a nice tutorial. Info is so scattered in this hobby.
Thanks Mr steele, legend!. I learned alot, exactly what I need to practice. Happy days. Thanks again.
perfect!!! i just started with my new quad and wanted to tune it!!
Really appreciate your time in putting this out...totally helpful. I followed your older series to get into fpv.

Super awesome to hear that people are having success with my older videos I’m excited to put out this newer set up so that you can learn a little bit more especially with the changing times. I’ve also obviously learned a lot in the last couple years of how I can teach this stuff so it makes life a little easier and makes it better when I make videos about the situation
You know it's a Mr Steele video when you press like before even watching! Love the content man.
Incredibly helpful video. Thank you. Subscribed.
Wow this is exactly what i was looking for.. This video is awesome... Thank you....
Thanks so much! Love these Tutorial Videos!!
Great video. I am new to FPV and flying my 3 inch or 2.5 inch quad was not as smooth as I thought. This will definitely help me understand what to adjust to have more control and better performance. Also I like the way you explain it using the simulation.
(I'm new to FPV, only 1 hour on my quad). You rock Mr Steele, previously I did 50 hours in a sim and my controller felt like jello. No control, quad floated all over the place. Using your rates on the sim just works, can't wait to set this up on my quad and fly it.
Love this little series :) ❤
Absolutely learned something, (I know that's not YOUR slogan 8-) ), and thanks for giving so much of your time to the community. I'm following your beginner series videos. Just awesome. This lessens my fear of messing with rates.
Hi Mr Steele, its good to see your still doing FPV Videos. Keep them coming :D
Finally I’m starting to understand these confusing numbers! Thank you!!! I vote for a PID video next 🤘
Thank you so much for this man, helps so much. You explained it all very well
I got into fpv when I saw the video of you flying line of sight. Then I picked my guitar back up when I saw a video of you covering Muse. Your videos inspire a lot of people and not only in this one hobby. I too love cars, 07 saturn sky with a ls3 swap. 86 olds cutlass with 632 ci nitrous big block. 2000 grandprix gtx with tons of mods. Keep being a total badass!!!!!!
Love the explanation! Feel like I understand so much more after watching this channel. Excited to move out of cinema style drones to something a little more exciting
Thankyou so much for teaching me all of this.
Thank you for this.. well explained Rates👍👍
You got me into fpv, thank you
I learn so much with you! Thank You so much!!!
these are the type of tutorials that set your channel apart i have purchased from your company Ethix and am a very happy customer i wish you could post a 3 to 5 minute video on the camera and lens selection that you use in this video it is spot on keep up the great work
Great vid as always. Having run steele quads and running a variant of your pids/rates with great success, but id love to learn more on how you tune the pids... tuned in for a next episode.
Wow, I threw your rates on my quad (1st build) and holy shit I have a new quad that rocks now! It is a night and day difference from what it was. Thank you so much. This along with following your new gimbal vid and finally making those adjustments to my stock Q7 has made this hobby immensely more fun.
This series is my new bible. Big thanx m8 legendary.
man I really love how detailed your explanations are, so much useful information! I've definitely learned so much from watching your vids so thank you fr, hopefully you come to san jose again so we rip some packs!
Thank you Mr Steel. I love this educational video. Now for first time I know what to do .😉👍
Thanks so much! Very well explained!!
Mr Steel your the Man so helpful thanks for doing this 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🔥please keep them coming
Thanks for the info. i am new at this. Beginning to understand,
Nice Masterclass Sir! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you so much. I love you. ❤️. You have taught me so much. I fly because of you man. Thank you
Loved every minute. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. 🍷👊🍻✔👍
That was awesome well explained thanks mate 🙂👍🏻
Thank you for the examples/explanation
Waiting for my first drone in the mail. This is very helpful, thank you 🙏
I’ve been flying for… 10 years maybe. Never been told I should find a “cg”. So obvious too 🤦♂️ My names Mr Steel, and you’re gonna learn something today
this video helped me out alot thanks man.
Glad you mentioned the importance of camera angle- not enough mentors stress how much this impacts the pilot's flying experience.

well explained MR. Steel
Thanks a lot for this! Perfect teaching!
Very informative mate, this has been a very Grey area for me and this has made it a lot clearer. Cheers 🍻

After a little reflection could I make the DC3 into a lil bustard? Asking for a friend 😬
Thank you this Rate explanation is so good, now i think i know how to tune mine
Like the new series very informative. Normally fly around 1000 degrees but with dialing up the super rate not the RC rate and with no expo so more in touch with the quad, but having fun with your dialed up RC rates ( all indoor at the moment). Would really like to see you do a throttle control video and how to set up for best control ( non Kiss just regular Bestflight).

Braaahhh miss you man. Loving the beard
Thank you so much! This really helped! 🙏
thanx again steele. Im headed out to hit the sky LFG. best pilot / teacher in the game!
just sold me on velocidrone. thanks much
Like so many others, you got me into this hobby. Thanks a bunch (I think 😅) and fpv love from France.
Dude, great video and explained so well! I followed your Build video and my quad came out amazing!!! Thanks!! Are you flying in New England anytime soon?
Great video, thanks!
I'm new and this explains what rates are thankx....I was confused about rates
Thanks for sharing bro!
Great advice thank you .
Hell yeah brotatochip. You dumbed it down so us noobs can figure it out. I have an even greater understanding of rates now. Thanks!
@19:06 Excellent advice and well said
thanks brother for sharing .
Awesome video. I have more of a firm grasp on it. Thanks
Very cool , thanks.
This part of flying has always been confusing to me. Thanks for this!! 🙏😀
Mr. Steele gives us the straight dope
Afternoon Mr.S - from the UK
Thx a lot ! I'm waiting for PID's video ! ;)
Great Video 🙏🏼
Very cool explanations. I also tell people to "tune" the radio...as in spring tension and stick length.
@MrSteeleFPV
4 жыл бұрын
This is actually a very good point and I probably will get to that in more of an advanced video but for right now I’m his people are going to be OK with it set up the way it is from the factory. Setting up your radio to your specific liking is a very important thing but not everybody wants to open up a radio right when they get it and start tweaking on stuff
@SKIDOOSH
4 жыл бұрын
@@MrSteeleFPV Totally agree, I don't think anyone should open a radio on the first go! hahaha...I only mention it because I would like to see your perspective on doing it. (BTW you look so much happier these days bud! WTG!!)
Love the videos man . Im currently waiting for my gear in shipping. Going digital for my first fpv experience and a smaller 3 inch quad . But ive been messing with my rates in my sim to try to see what I like. I think I finally found something I like but my degrees are way lower than yours.. more like 500 I think lol but I like the feel of it and I've got it so my end stick is real snappy and the middle is smoother.
Thanks, very good teacher
great video!
Very useful, thanks
Im 2:24 in and already thanking you!
Yeah PIDs would be nice to see also
