Very well done, clear video. I am really glad to see you add in Euro/Competition Nymphing patterns. I and many of my fishing buddies are learning these fishing techniques with very good success!
Nice, clear, instruction, as usual. Love your tutorials. They are excellent. Thank you for sharing......
Great video!! Can't wait to tie this fly!!
Nice fly and great instructions. Will give it a try this year.
I've been tying a very similar fly for a few years in several color combinations. It's been a 'secret weapon' for me. Until seeing this video, i thought i was the originator. ;) Thanks for posting!
What a great fly!
Nice ,Very nice Thanks Earl
Good looking fly! I can't wait to try it. I don't have any Sulky thread so I used black krystal flash. Looks pretty good, I think.
I'm tying some up right now.

Go to Golden Witch Technologies and on their home page under featured products is a DVD set called "The Graphite Fly Rod, How to Build a Modern Classic". Russ Gooding and I produced it a few years ago but everything is still valid and there is a ton of good information.
What color is the dubbing? Looks like peacock red or bronze?
I could not find it :(
I wonder how this fly would work on a jig hook?

Jeff Harrison Really well! Size 14 and 16 with a slotted gold or black bead, hard to beat.

tightlinevideo What was the peacock dubbing color, I've noticed that there are several choices i.e. green, bronze, UV green/bronze, etc.

@@tightlinevideo You've solved a mystery for me! I ended up with a couple hundred spools of thread from the estate of an avid fly tier and there were a bunch of spools with that red end cap and knurled clear disk on the spool, but no labels.
