Any stage 1 s4 is doing sub 12 secs 1/4 mile and if it isn’t then somethings wrong with your car. You do know tuned s4’s that aren’t garbage like the one in this video are doing low 11’s- 10 sec 1/4 mile times right lmao. The start of the roll race was pretty chaotic, but heavily modded cars are chaotic, so, kind of expected. Dig race, M340i slingshot. Damn.

Sam, they don't need to be 5 minutes or less, you could easily make a longer video if you use a best 2 out of 3 format similar to CarWow. Just need to edit out the stuff where you tell them all the pre race instructions.

@@gogz1981 Depends on the tune, I think the 500hp/525tq is to the wheels, it sounds more realistic than to the crank. The 45 Amg definitely isn’t making 550 lb-ft of torque, maybe it’s in newton meters. Either way there is a big difference in power

Sam. Please race that BMW against the Lap3 Tuned Stinger you had on several weeks back. I think they lost about the same 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

Great line up Sam 63 anything tuned move, weight is an advantage off the line and at a roll they disappear well past 200 including G wagons. Renntech been tuning for decades and built some of the wickedest Benz from the south to the north.

Daymnnn B58 too good🤩 now this nailed it, i want g30 540i even more now!

That M340i took off and sounded like it was in zone 5 full military mode 👊🏼

As soon as I saw a tuned B58 in the mix I knew it was the winner and it didn't disappoint.

That is the worlds slowest B8 S4. With such modifications that should be at the very least a mid 11 sec car. My brothers APR tune only S4 did a 12.1 at 113 mph. Love the M340 as always impressive

Exactly. Drop the Unitronic and go 034. I knew the BMW was going to win because the Audi would need a ported blower to match a turbo car, but I didn't expect the Audi to be so bad. That time was pretty much stock. It doesn't have 450 ft lbs of torque either.

So I have a 2015 S4 dual pulley and I’m 0-60 3.2-3.4 and on 93 11.50s all day 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Mod for mod the m340i is going to be clear. My prediction before watching is the cla45 will have a good launch but lose out on the top end. The s4 if stock turbo will struggle on the top end as well against the m340i if it's tuned. The 'race' will be btw the s4 and the cla which the s4 should win mod for mod. now if any of them are turbo upgrades with tuning then it's a different story. Looking forward to this one either way! : )

E30 vs 94 octane was the difference. A dual pulley B8 S4 typically is quicker than a FBO 340i. This is from someone that's owned BMW's S54/N54 and a B8 S4. The S4's on E60 will beat the 340i on a similar custom E60 tune.

@@Tracked350Z yeah would have been nice to see them both with good fueling. But if the tune doesn't take advantage of the additional fueling then it's also not that important. A dual pulley on e60 would be moving for sure. Would love to see what kind of Times they put down.

Most cars on the street have good tuning capabilities the Japanese (JDM) being the first with much more availability of parts followed by the Germans, the Korean brands are not touching those 2 in the tuning segment the B58 engine is more turner friendly than that of that kia and don't forget how good bmw transmissions are

With a base ots tune my s4 was doing 11.5s granted it was a b9 but when you do those supercharged ones right they are fast idk what happen

You can still buy E in Canada. YD Motorsport sells them and so does Eurocharged. In Niagara there is a convenience store that sells E85 in 5 gallon barrels.

It's not just the b58 to be honest. It's the whole package. A 340i with a tune and do is nowhere as good. But with an upgraded turbo the 340i is wild. No doubt the b58 is strong but I needs the supporting mods to be good as well.

Don’t know why they put the m340i in this race. It’s fast with out a tune too it’s still smacking those slow cars

Pretty sure both S4 and CLA owners never hit a dyno before.

Your power figures on cla45 are wrong. A stage 2 tune won't get more than 430hp. Who's tuned it and said 483 has lied. Also its not an s, not even a facelift, from the year production listed it's first gen cla45

Why comparing a 2020 340i with Audi and Mercedes of 10 years of age?

This kind of race doesn’t make sense, the big factor is the E-Mix. Whoever have an ethanol tune car knows what I’m talking about. All 3 cars should be tested again on 93oct. I know the m340 would still win, but it would make the race more interesting.

Another channel already raced the M340i vs C43 vs S4. The M340i won a expected. Interestingly though, with launch control allowed, the S4 was quicker then the C43. But when launch control wasn't allowed, the S4 was slower then the C43.
