Born in subtropical region, there is no way for me to see snow EVER. But listening to this, I could almost feel the cold, the wind blowing on my skin. This is really amazing! I wish our choir could sing this someday.

I tear up when I hear this because we sang this is high school for the University concert and there were tears in the audience and in the choir. All choir teachers were SOBBING. I being a cold hearted person didn’t cry, but now listening to this almost 10 years later tears are falling down my face. I miss choir

Please find your local amateur choir, usually run by your city. Find your harmony again. I'm 37 and just joined choir again. Choir is for everyone in every age!

I loved being a member of this ensemble 10 years ago. The music we sing touched my heart, and literally changed my life. Great job ladies!

Im back again. My chorus director passed on shortly after I graduated, and I couldnt imagine the pain of his current students. Nearly every day I think of you, Mr.K, because its thanks to you that I have any confidence as a singer. Its thanks to you that my conviction with singing is so… there. You were the only thing that got me through high school, and when we did this song all together, it felt like a spiritual experience. The audience was in tears and I was as well. I still am in tears listening to this now and singing (Alto 1). I miss you so much. This song is like a reminder of the beautiful soul you were and the effect you had on all your students. I will never forget this feeling and I will always long for my chorus days with you. ❤

For me the definitive version - so ethereal and every note perfect. The blend of voices is almost otherworldly. Thank you for making something beautiful

Gjeillo has become one of my favorite choral composers and the Y ladies did him proud. (Utah, BS 59)

The only negative thing I have to say about this beautiful video is that it is TOO SHORT. A real treat for the eyes and ears. 08/28/2017

Had the privilege of meeting Mr. Gjeilo when he visited my school in Minnesota, at least a decade ago. His music is one of my favorites to recommend and listen to, among other great artists like Eric Whitacre. Everyone else wanted to sing the Beetles, I wanted to do Ola Gjeilo music.

I HAVEN'T SUNG IN A CHOIR IN PERSON SINCE EARLY MARCH AND IT IS SEPTEMBER. IT IS MY LIFE AND MY FUTURE. Hearing this piece I've sung as a young high schooler in Honor Choir... I'm strangely at peace.

I'm singing this year in choir and I am so happy that you guys sang this! My choir teachers used this as an example on what it is supposed to sound like :D

AAAAHHHHH the amazingness is melting my ears off! ever since I started choir, this has been my ultimate goal, to get into a BYU choir. this makes me want it even more.

The harmony of Gjeilo, the classic ethereality of the choir, the low resonance of the piano, the stunning cinematography... all of this is gorgeous.

This is absolutely beautiful. Our high school choir is currently learning this song to sing at the Winter Concert and this actually made me cry.

Very big flex to the right group of people but I was in the choir that he wrote this song for originally and he accompanied us in our performance and it was incredible. Still remember it many years later

I sang this last year for our Winter concert. It was my senior year, and little did I know it would be the last concert of my high school career. I’m currently crying. This song is so beautiful and I miss choir so much. I miss my family. I miss the safety that it brought me. I miss the place where I could relax and be myself. I miss my friends. I miss everything. It was taken from me too soon 💔

Simply OUTSTANDING.

I sang this when I was in the OU women’s chorus. Weeks later a snow storm blankets the OU campus and I’m walking across listening to this song admiring the beauty. I’m no longer in beautiful, snowy Oklahoma but in hot, muggy North Carolina 😕 Every night I listen to this recording and close my eyes and think of the snow on OU’s campus

Language is hard to know but the sound that comes from the song is so sweet to hear. The snow is cold and their song is cool. Standing on a snow like a mighty warriors to faced against the cold of the snow. Cool is your song to give a little bit warm while standing on the snow. Amen.
