I am a Malay guy who wants Anuar to get this corruption issues out off our system. Our society must stop normalising this culture of deceit. My father in his late 70 with his possies; no longer called Anuar a homo but now see him as untrustworthy BI guy. I was aghast with the fact that there is deep hate for PMX; but i pleasantly shocked that my old very religious dad understand the concept of BISEXUALITY. My concern is that him and his mate votes; have the power to dictate my future. Him being obstinate with his choice and reasoning; drives me bonkers. Careless is his action in my eyes, stubbornness is the Malay DNA that makes him the blind loyal animal that he is. DAP is evil to him, and everytime DAP makes progress within the government, starting to win over heart and mind; a small error knocks it all down to point zero. Here i like to emphasize that the idea of ONE Malaysia is attainable, but the softly softly approach is the way forward. Malay is very kind, they have soft heart; HATE is a defensive reaction, the concept of sharing is in our culture; we love to share with guest, family and those whom we accepted into our circle. The key word is CIRCLE; being Muslim would be ideal but not essential, the requirement is so minimal, yet you guys, my fellow Malaysian still cant figure it out. I am off topic, but this thought comes to mind as i listen to you guys. So i feel like sharing.This is me being Malay, staying focus is bit challenging, and im attempting the dual language now. Bro, i am postman, in a rural area; observe my ENGLISH, it is above average. Bolehlah, i become proficient after SRP.

With regards to the DLP, I was a Malay medium student, was taught by dedicated Malay teachers those days . Language shouldn’t be a barrier when it comes to the educational system. We can have the national language implemented ..not an issue..but dedication and fairness is what we lack amongst teachers….who are oppressed in various ways too. When we allow mixing education with politics , this is where insecurities arise irrespective of race. We need to engage in getting well deserved teachers who are dedicated firstly and who are willing to teach irrespective of the language, to then half the battle would be won…When the foundation has been laid, any student would be able achieve anything

I remember about 30 years ago my private tutor talked about new civil servants would no longer get pensions and would get EPF instead. I think this idea had already been floated before (perhaps more than once) but it was politically challenging to execute.

I was one of the volunteers who helped during the selangor State election last year, and I agree that DAP should not reward volunteers with cash as this will taint DAP uncorrupted image and attract unwanted personnel, which may or may not bring harm to DAP in the future

I never thought that Dual Language was an issue because I was from chinese primary school, move on to secondary school where all subjects were taught in Malay, and went on to private University where all subjects were taught in English. Now I am working in an MNC and worked in multiple countries around the world.. Our generation adapted pretty well..

OKM maybe you can talk or comment on our Immigration Department handling on Passport application. Why we as Malaysian need to queue as early as 4am for queue number. We have high rise buildings like KLCC, TRX, KLIA and we have such outdated system unlike online queue number. This also got highlighted in TV3 program 1-2 weeks ago.

@@loiedmund8059 i renewed online and got approval after 2 days. Just make sure photo meets their standard. The queue number for collection is short. I walked in, got my queue number for collection and was out after 20 mins

But just my two cent suggestion , mybe you guys can put English/ Malay Subtitle for your podcast in order tally to channel those topic that had been discuss to grass root (Not only for Non-Malay based , but for Malay based at rural area) . The solution to pension problem might be to give new civil servants the choice between lower salary and pension versus higher salary with epf, the qs then becomes how much higher salary, this can also be used for contract medical staffs, cos if I'm gonna go private in a few years, I'll gladly take the higher salary and epf in the meantime, while I serve the ppl and upskill myself

Don't call it a witchhunt! He should long be prosecuted long ago but the right person was not there because of Tun. Tun is a cunning guy who goes out to protect his kaki. Just ask yourself how on earth a nine year old boy owns so much property or allowed to hold properties? It was not an easy tasks for PMX. Tun M just brushed of like simple nothing as investigating Tuns. We are not stupid. Or with blind eyes. We just cannot or not speak up.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes, the SMUE program has been updated to a monthly voucher for those aged 60 and above rather than the cash assistance at the time of death. Will raise this up at the next podcast.

Scrap the pension for elected reps and ministers, but pay them more. About getting talent for the civil service... Can our government actually offer jobs to JPA scholars (incl non-bumis), and actually take action against those who break their bond... With fine amounts that are deterring, not a "subsidy"!

Have tons of library. Sg makes it easy to borrow books. Even e-books are readily available. Encourage parents to their kids to library more often.

How naive can you be with this d.t.🙏 thing. Where were you in the 70s 80s and 90s. I bet you were not even born or still in diapers numerous times running naked among your peers. I was there dude and can still feel the dreaded fear when one of them became the Head of State. Before he came to be, in his own state had instill so much anguish and fear among the Rakyat there. If one stops additional funds to KWAP pot, KWAP cannot sustain paying out the pensions to the pensioners through the profits of KWAP investments, thus forcing payments from the base contributions. But there are decreasing contributions because the pension scheme is unavailable and increasing of new pensioners. Soon, fund will dry out. Just replacing one problem with a bigger one. By the way, if the monies of 1MDB were not stolen by Najib and gang, new and present civil servants and pensioners will have softer landings.

Reg Water contract with Spore...Since land value in Spore is a lot higher compared to Johor, should we not build more water treatment plants in Johor and Sell Treated Water to spore and not untreated water, thus a higher value will be earned here plus provide employment etc etc?

The bigger issue I think is the used water discharge. If not treated or enforced properly, this will pollute waterways and make costs and viability of treating water untenable.
