I’m just north of Bowling Green Ky! Did you do cups for gifts? What epoxy did you use? Did you love it? I’m contemplating starting cups to make a business but can’t settle on an epoxy yet.

Have you ever used the “Rtic” tumblers? I love them as they keep ice for up to 24 hours and hot about 8 hours.

How do you fix the decal after you have put the epoxy. I just made my first cup and my decal is sticking out of the epoxy in one little place.

Taking advantage of the sales Micheals is having on their stuff. Buying their plastics cup to practice. As u said I will probably mess up a few times . I don't mind spending 2.00 a cup, their tumbler are pretty cheap then u use their coupons.I think I will start on little stuff first. Like, key chains..I will see if I like it. If I find this is not for me.. Lucky, the return policy at Micheals is awesome. I have not had a problem returning unopened unused things things yet. Wish me luck.

What’s your best tip to get the edges completely covered. For some reason when epoxy is fully cured the is a rough texture around the edges (I think it’s the glitter not fully covered) and. I matter how thick I think I make the edge it’s always moves away from the edges when turning

Regular pieces of sand paper, what grit do you need when sanding? I need help with that.. the grit when sanding before applying the paint, and then the grit thats used to sand the epoxy when glitter is sticking up. Thank you!

Mrs. Rosebud 220 is a good grit for both.

I know this is an older video but i need help desperately! I am having trouble getting the epoxy to go all the way up to the rim lip. I do dremmel the stuff off the rim but idk what im doing weong. I use a n95 mask if just mixing apoxy or doing lids but if applying onto tumbler I use a respirator mask.

Virginia Hillegass most rhinestone brands do not recommend using epoxy to adhere rhinestones

Celsi Caraway it’s just equal parts of both depending how much you need to use on a cup. If that makes sense

you wear the mask when you are doing anything with the Epoxy. Especially if you run a torch or heat gun over it to pop any micro bubbles.

Are they hard to make

On my first cup I got ripples all down my cup. I used several different colored Glitters. Do you think I was using too much epoxy or was it too much glitter?

It actually could have been oils from your hand or possibly oils on the glitter. You can always wipe down your tumbler before layers of epoxy to help alleviate the epoxy pulling away from the glitter

Wait I don’t have to mix both a and b together in a cup as long as I have equal parts I can pour it straight on the tumbler?? 🤯🤯
