    This is amazing! I built a tumbler after watching your video and now just have to figure out the painting and polishing. I spoke with Zeulch about buying there special tumbling paint but unfortunately I am in the USA and they do not ship here. I am considering using water based acrylic paint. Do you have a toy safe recommendation for a high gloss finishing coat? How do you polish the wood between coats?

    Helleo,I would have a few questions. 1) ratio of paint and water 2) how much do you weave the paint into the dyeing drum 3) how painted wood dries without sticking together thanks

  • @artcraft2893

    @artcraft2893

    3 жыл бұрын

    1) Don't know you must find out. That was first time with water based paint for me. And I add to much water in first time. 2) Even distribution of paint. This drum rotate only in one direction so there is no even mixing. Everything rotate around one axis. You should have tilting axe like in concrete mixer(that was my first painting drum) 3) They always stick more or les. Best are beads for minimum surface stick to another bead. But flat parts are nightmares. So let them littre dry mix of 10-20sec let dry for like 5-10min and next mix.

    No. First is long run till all elements are covered in paint. Next you made short runs like 30sec to 1min for prevent sticking together. You made that in like 10 min periods. Till all is dry enought to prevent sticking. Then you wait next day for cure the layer.

    Right amount of paint and luck. Spheres are easiest to paint for little surface stick to other sphere. Flat elements are harder, surface tension can glued them together before paint set. Sou you get big chunk. Ask local distributors for this painting method they have some additives and know tricks. kzread.info/dash/bejne/h2elpa6ectaonpM.html
