    Mmmm......would never have thought to tumble new blanks. Thought it would be unecessary but it does make a big difference to the finish on the sides. Learnt something new! TFS!!

    The tumbler we carry has a 3lb weight limit. That includes the barrel, shot, your pieces, and enough water to cover the media and material. If the barrel isn't turning or is slow - it is too heavy. You'll want to experiment and pretty soon you will be able to judge pretty well. The bag of shot when purchased is 2lbs...try 2/3rds of the bag to start and go from there.
