The beauty of Javed singin Rafi Sahab’s songs is that besides being trained in classical raagas, he does not try to mimic Rafisaab nor does he try to attempt the same octave levels. He sings freely from his soul, just like the great Rafi did. That is how a singer ought to be. This number was soooooo good!

Javed Ali is absolutely fantastic. He gets totally sort of "absorbed" in his singing. Voice is so soothing to the ears and soul. Hats off to all the muscians too. The point where the tempo of the music changes and comes by to normal is done flawlessly.

Amazing rendition. I keep coming back several times because i still am amazed at the high level skills. This is an outstanding composition as far as hindi film industry goes. The composer made a haunting tune but the track arranger late shri kersi lord took the challenge to another level by writing an amazing, unparalleled instrumentation around it... Amazing orchestra! Javed Ali is a Guru. But wonder why this orchestra doesn't do a SD Burman special? So many great songs of Dada that this orchestra can bring to life.

The original is sung by God of music Greatest ever Shri Mohammed Rafi Saheb and the angels like Mr. Sonu Nigam and Mr. Javed Ali are trying to replicate the same....🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰 Remember one thing both considers Shri Rafi Saheb as their mentor.....they literally worship him...

Rafi saheb and Madanmohanjis greatest output. I love this song for its different tranza in two different line. The first one is very slow and suddenly superfast in next line. This was later copied by Bhappida in his song of Sharabi, imteha ho gayi intazar ki....
