I love how the chorus is composed using a variation of Royal Road Progression giving the song such an emotional and warming feeling. You really are a talented composer, not just a singer. And the lyrics despite being simple in nature captures the beauty of love so well. It's a rare and beautiful song. This definitely deserves to be a hit and have much more views tan it already has. I have a feeling it's intentional, because she is starting from root chord in the intro verse but going to the Royal Road Progression in only the chorus. (Edit: I'm a music producer myself and know it's not common.) I'm not sure if it's the music producer's decision or Simpal's, as that depends on what was written first, the lyrics and composition or the instrumental. But I have a feeling it's intentional and just look how beautifully it suits the chorus part. This only she can tell. But regardless her composition is so beautiful and mature. And yeah, it's in no way simple. It's splendid to be honest. I used the word simple for the lyrics being so beautifully relatable and easy to understand and digest and still she delivers such a beautiful singing and composition with that. I'm just in love with this song.

Then i guess you're definitely more qualified to comment on it :) For me it's a totally different story when I hear her sing 🙈 Honestly, it's like an other-worldly experience for me!! Somehow, to me, it just felt like her compositions are more powered by her "feel", rather than any music theory.. But, i think it's a pretty simple composition.. although i don't know much about theory, guess there're only like 4-5 chords in it.. Starting with a B flat, G minor, E flat and F.. and adding a D minor in the chorus.. i think the chorus goes like that - E flat F E flat F D minor F E flat F (just figured it out on the guitar, do correct me if I'm wrong :) anyways, thanks for the reply bro! A great day to you!
