They are blaming Maheem ( zara's older Sister because she called the sister of Mahi's would be groom to tell about Mahi's first marriage and Divorce. Which Mahi and her mom ( Farida Mami ) were hiding from the groom 's family. After knowing this, they canceled the wedding at the last minute and Mahi and her family were humiliated. With that vengeance Mahi ( already full of hatred for Zara) became more harsh and pushed Zara which lead to her abortion and defamed her with Aakib. SO NOW EVERYONE IS BLAMING MAHEEM FOR STARTING ALL THIS. Hope this explains.
