TULIP HAT DIY //How to DRAFT AND SEW TULIP HAT 【FREE PATTERN DOWNLOAD】Easy Sewing Project Tutorial

Tulip Hat DIY: Sewing Tutorial on how to draft and sew a 6-piece easy tulip hat from scratch with your own measurements, with a free pattern download option.

This tulip hat is loose fit on my 22” head (I don’t like to flatten my hair with hats). You can change the size of the pattern by scaling up/down on the printer setting, or adding/subtracting a little on the sides of the pattern. I think you’ll know how to do that once you watch the patterning part of this video :)

    @@SachisStudio I have a 45 and a 60 Olfa and they both work fine with many fabrics. But I work a lot with mud cloth, which is very rough and takes a lot of strength and energy to cut... • @SachisStudio

    @SachisStudio

    I only use my rotary cutters for light weight fabrics so I don’t know much about that…sorry I can’t be of much help! For thick fabric, I usually trace the pattern and cut the inside line with my Shozaburo shears (Japanese fabric scissors). I’ve been experimenting with electric scissors lately, but they are tricky to maneuver, but easy on hands so that could be something to consider…
