Hello I am located in the United States and I am very interested in working with the Tuli Cattle breed here in Northern America there are only a few cattle breeds that might transfer in to the changing weather conditions that Is being caused by global warming that is only getting worse in the Western U.S. I want work with the breed and do research. I do think the Tuli breed would fit well in to the environment of the mountains and foothills of Eastern California and in most of the state of Nevada is becoming dryer. It seems like the Tuli Breed has a lot of multiple advantages. Regards Hope

America isnt well known for Sanga cattle but it does have a plethora of heat tolerant (Zebu) cattle such as the brahman and the many hybrids that are derived from it. The additional european dna in the hybrids could possibly mean they can survive a colder and wetter climate not just a hot and dry climate. But Zebu, Sanga and taurine hybrids are not my expertise

@@davidmccarroll2280 Hello David, I have run cattle in a high desert valley only 150 miles from Death Valley,CA and in the scrubgrass and lightly wooded area of Northern California and know as things change with both weather patterns and population growth it is of time before I am forced in to more extreme desert conditions so I am looking in to all possible genetic options to produce and have the necessary bovine genetic to produce top quality lean beef! I know in my specialized micro climates black hidden cattle do not work! So, I am in the process of being self educating and informed and looking for the right bovine genetic that possible might work for me! I have read the reports from Texas AM University Beef Research Center, and there was very little published from the U.S.D.A. There was at one time a commercial ranch in New Mexico that had a large heard of Tuli Cattle, there where three large Tuli Cattle breeders in Texas that where working together that offered liable Tuli beef to the commercial market. All of the Texas and the New Mexico breeders have now retired and sold there cattle,so I am trying to to find and understand what Tuli Genetic are available in the U.S.A. at the present time! Regards Hope
