My only complaint about this post is that it lasted 8 mins rather than 38 mins or more. This detailed and highly knowlegable understanding of Cornish mining history needs much greater air-time. Having said that, it will certainly need quite a few views to glean all the information which was imparted. Many thanks.

Yes agreed needs a few views for it to sink in! Interesting stuff. Re 38 rather than 8 minutes, there is more here - I will have a look and see what I can find and crunch together - next data is potentially more of the actual exploration further down inside the mine although there could be more research-based footage as per this video here... A new connection was found through to a section of the mine that has vary rarely been visited before (previously accessed via a different route via an interconnecting mineshaft located on the crosscut highlighted on this video) so suspect video from now will be based more on that. Will have a look! Cheers.
