This was a joy to observe this couple’s love , enjoyment and commitment
I've been a builder for many years and have seen quite a fair bit of sheds. The plans in ryan's package kzread.infoUgkxB7IXYxLzb_Ichhe45zM3Im5xfEiSp9vB have some of the nicest looking sheds i've seen in a while.
Yes please!!!! Would LOVE to see a 2023 update
Truly beautiful! I can only imagine that those who are restoring structures will be calling this couple to work on their projects. Learning those old crafts will be able to be put to use in new careers. Quality work, done with love. Their goodness can be shared with the rest of the nation and her history.
This is a couple to admire. May God grant them many years of joy in their tiny beautifully perfect home.
Everything that needs to be said about that lovely couple, can be seen in their reaction to original shutter handles. He positively beamed and she was moved to tears! Such good people! I wish them every happiness!

@@tristanchaim7647 WHY would you ever need to HACK your FRIEND'S account? Couldn't you just ask them for access if they're such a good friend? Sounds shady, sketchy and illegal, but have at'er if that's your kind of thing.
I would've loved to have seen the older lady who used to live there with her family come and visit it now, she'd be amazed by what this couple have done..also shame we couldn't see the extension part for a later episode.
Absolutely beautiful. I could quite happily live in that wee cottage with my wee dog and be happy ever after.
❤ most incredible couple who succeeded without compromise ❤
I think this is my favorite episode. Vanessa and Nik is just top shelf people.
One of the best and most charming show on restoration surpassed by the passion of this lovely and loving couple! I know this is 11 years old, but it’s the best!
there should be a follow up on this couple and many others as well, cause it's 2021 now and I wanna see if they still enjoy their beautiful home now before covid and all
Unbelievable craftmanship! Very good indeed!
What a lovely couple such a joy to see the love they have for the house and each other. What a brilliant job they both did it’s gorgeous I love it they should be so proud of the house an themselves we wish them all the best of luck and joy for the future.
It's not how small the home is it's the love put in it.
What a great couple. They are WONDERFUL.
I love the gate house and the couple, the quality of work they did and the colors they chose. I would add a lovely little handrail on either side of the approach to the front door and broadening out to either side, like a gesture of welcome, perhaps inspired by something at the 'academic research center' full of house parts. A few guests over for wine on a cold winter night, and a slip while leaving in the dark, could spell real injury.
This was my fave of all of this series. I wish they had added the followup which shows the completed project with extension. Lovely place. Nice couple, lots of work...great outcome.

What an amazing couple - just terrific in every way.
Nick-what a talented woodworker. Amazing!
I hope they will have many wonderful years ahead to really enjoy the restoration of their awesome home such dedication and love has gone in to it ,I sat and watch every last detail I found it fascinating that this couple had taken all they had in terms of finance ,time and energy and they loved and took pleasure in bringing back to the original home it once was beautifully restored thank you for sharing your wonderful achievements with all us viewers.
They're such a sweet couple :)
Total work of art. Very inspiring, very beautiful result.
The amount of love and passion they put was enormous - they are both skillful and lovely couple
Beautifully and tastefully done with loads of love and passion... Would love to see the extension they would do in the future 👍👍 Lord bless the lovely couple ❤️❤️
Sitting here in my little 43 year old little cottage that my hubby and I renovated....I'm watching you in aw. I'm fascinated by your attention to detail....which is more work and research than in our little piece of heaven. I absolutely adore architecture and especially as old as your homes history. Love the pigs...my hubby had a Hampshire pig when he attended University of Virginia....hubby was a special spirit...so of course a pig named Ace. He would love seeing your work and then the beautiful warm feeling on the final outcome. You both laid hands on every single inch of your beautiful charming cottage. Thank you for saving a piece of history and sharing your experience....filled with craftmanship and love. You are a brilliant couple. Jo from Virginia USA

Very well put Jo. Your words reflect what many of us feel about this restoration but are not able to express. Thank you. John Bethel, Missouri
Omg 😳 this is spectacular. This couple are absolutely marvelous in doing everything with precision and taking their time. Well done!
It's such a beautiful and picturesque house now with gorgeous colours, and such perfection and care in the finer details. They deserve an award for their excellent efforts. May they live happily ever after!
Absolutely wonderful, this is the happiest episode I have seen! Thanks for posting it here.
i've always admired those who are creative. these two are certainly that...and they compliment each others skills so well. lovely lovely work. just beautiful.
Those bay windows are spectacular!
Amazing people!! Their commitment love and skill is admirable - such a wonderful couple with a great zest for living well.
Love this couple! So touching.
How lovely is their deep compassion and hard work to restore the gate house into something as beautiful as this. Love it 👌💕💖
I said I would be in the house by Christmas not that I would be finished.. Lol 😂
This video and project is gorgeous. The end got me tearing up! Much love ❤
Absolutely Fabulous: WELL DONE! Nic and Vanessa: Intrepid: above and beyond! Exquisite workmanship all around every detail! STUNNING!
My favourite episode.. it looks like so much like David Bowie's Labyrinth so beautifully restored colourful and cosy nice touch with the door knocker and gargoyle
Absolutely lovely both the restoration and the couple
Lovely⛪ Please go back and do a part 2 on this one when the addition is done!
❤❤❤ so wonderful to see this kind of craftsmanship stay alive. Thank you for sharing this video I look forward to seeing the finished product
What a couple! a treat to watch..
I’ve watched this so many times! It’s just my favourite!
Isn’t George the coolest architect ever? Who else do you see lime watering a wall by hand alongside pigs and then researching old documents in a library in the next frame?
People who restore these properties are truly a gift. I am grateful they care enough to make them beautiful again.
I love this show but this is my favorite BY FAR! So lovely! I'm impressed.
I love the love that they have for each other!
the carpentry is just beautiful
I love this wee gate lodge. It is precious.
What a truly lovely couple
This is the best Reno I have seen. These two are awesome
And so the two of them lived together HAPPILY EVER AFTER.... ❤️
I'm sitting here in front of my laptop screen, in 8 of February 2021... Can't get enough of this adorable tiny gate to the fairytales' realm... Thank you for this experience! I wonder what is the feeling there in 2021... Please, make a new video about this minuscule marvel in 2021!
It's truly a fairy tale cottage with a fairy tale story of restoration and a magic genie George taking us through it😀
What a lovely couple whose passion resulted in an amazing restoration. All of the painstaking details, my favourite being those windows to which they both contributed with love and historic accuracy. And the gentleman who gifted the shutter handles ... what a kind gesture. He clearly appreciated their efforts and commitment to the project. I also enjoyed George’s enthusiasm for the arts and crafts details they fulfilled. So enjoyable to watch the transformation. And to the person who made the gnarly remark about his teeth? Get over yourself. Just narsty.
OMG this house is soooo beautiful 👍👍.I love it so much !! It is a fairytail-Pearl ❤👍👍.
What a lovely kind hearted man that collector is, giving the couple those original door handles, bless him! What a sweet deserving couple they are too!
A charming little house!
Where has this series been my entire life? How am I just discovering this???!!!…It’s like House Hunters Renovations and Fake or Fortune had a baby…
That stained-glass window shop is heaven
Wow beautiful little house 🏠 they both done a fantastic job in its restoration, I’m so glad I stumbled across this & discovering I live not that far away 😃
Love, creativity and skills, such a wonderful combination!
Crazy! 8 people lived in a place now considered inadequate for 2! Wow!

What an Amazingly Beautiful Couple. The Happiness they glow is Something very couple would hope for.
Wow! Best restoration I've seen!
I love all the people in this episode. The couple is so charming and fun. And that collection of architectural salvage is amazing.
This is just more than special , lovely couple beautiful little cottage I know the area I lived in that area, the house is on clay so not easy. Such a talented couple, wonderful result. I would love to see it with the extension.
Outstanding! My favorite restoration video and story so far. Very inspiring, beautifully documented, and presented with charm. George’s ability to immerse himself in the project, develop a friendship with the owners, and weave together the story is second to none.
I love this house and Nick and Vanessa.
ADDITION TO THIS CUTE HOUSE COULD HAVE BEEN GREAT, IT IS BEAUTIFL
They did such a beautiful job restoring this cottage. What I don’t understand is why England makes it so difficult for people to restore these old homes. It’s almost like they would rather see them rot away instead of being brought back to their former glory.
Fantastic home bless the couple may they live long to enjoy every day great craftmans ship both work as a team its lovely.
What an amazing couple. Humble, talented and so determined. What a beautiful restoration.
Que lindo 💕 Parabéns. Fã brasileira 🇧🇷♥️
Oh the fire in the bedroom. Takes me back to my childhood. We were only allowed a fire in the bedroom if we were poorly, but, oh the delight of sitting by a cosy fire with my toys and a story book.
What a joy to have seen this restoration. One can breath the beauty of craftsmanship that was given in it's birth. Thank you for bringing this adventure to us. Many hugs to all of you; you are beautiful!!!
This is a restoration that's truly touched a cord; this is utterly charming. The beauty of thought, skill, admirable talent & vision - - just inspiring.
Being a Yank and raised in Southampton me mums home. We spent many days going to the countryside. I will always remember the The quaint cottages and Wondrous huge estates we saw . Love this channel 👍🏻
this couple is a hoot
Lovely to watch the support and love this couple give to each other. This will be a beautiful home.
They achieved a lot and it was very pretty, and the work they did was amazing, but no bathroom, I could not live there. I hope that it was completed.

I agree. They should have kept the bathroom where they had originally planned it and made the storage room off of it the utility room with washer and dryer.
With the exception of Grand Designs, which can be a bit hit and miss sometimes (mostly hit, though sometimes miss) the shows with George Clarke are BY FAR the best house-related shows in the UK. The lack of architectural and interior design flair in the myriad of house-related UK TV shows is pretty remarkable, so George's shows are an oasis.
Just wow, one of the most beautiful and beautifully restored little houses I have ever seen and to do all that when you are not a spring chicken, what an incredible couple.
Look forward to seeing the new extension being built...♥️
How is it possible that 205,781 views of this video are tallied and ONLY 3.2 thousand people hit the LIKE button. To borrow a much used British phrase, this video is BRILLIANT.
Sooooooo cute,those gorgeous windows!!!!
What a great couple. They did an amazing job❤
Fab everything and everyone!
Absolutely stunning to watch especially that the woodwork was completely done by Nick. He is a true carpenter indeed; as well his wife who is quite handy doing glasswork and fabulous painting.
It looks like night that has turned into day, you should be so proud of your selves! The average person would have had hired out but you really know this home inside and out! An amazing job!
This was so heartwarming to watch. The love they put into the house is amazing. And the result is stunning ❤
George Clarck, hope you return to this little castle after the job finished...tks and ❤from🇧🇷!
Wonderfull couple.❤️
Love the couple Nick and Vanessa! Good job!
Matches made in heaven. Thanks to programs like this, irreplaceable buildings, gardens, landscapes, trees may rise in our attention so we all can endorse, endow and enable their restoration and preservation.
absolutely outstanding,a real fairytale brought to life.what strong will power, and talent.
Absolutely lovely so enchanted the couple as well 🙏💖
