Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze from Jomashop unboxing

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

The video title is pretty self-explanatory for what to expect to see in this video. Yes, I got a new Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze from JOMASHOP. I'll explain why and why the BB58 Bronze in a later video.
For now, this is just an unboxing video to do a few things.
1) Show the condition of how JOMASHOP ships a luxury watch
2) Document the condition of the watch as it arrives to me. Especially since this is a "condition sensitive" timepiece. Because it is a bronze watch, I wanted to be sure to capture any potential flaws as I unbox and open the package for the first time as soon as I received it. While wearing gloves as to prove I had no direct handling of the watch when I received and inspected it, I look for any signs it may have been used, handled or otherwise exposed to create early signs of patina.
3) Perhaps after a positive experience during the unboxing, provide some confidence and a little insight for those also interested in a luxury watch purchase from JOMASHOP... are the watches truly legit? are the watches complete with their original packaging, papers, accessories, etc..?

Why buy from gray market dealer for negligible discount and 2 yr warranty when Tudor boutique offers 5 yr warranty?

Cause I don't want to wait and no boutique nearby. And, if Tudor movements are as solid as they should be, I shouldn't have any problem anyways for several years. Well past the warranty.. And if not, lesson learned... Buy from an AD next time.

Congrats! If I were to get a Tudor Black Bay, it would be this one. I am curious to see how it patinas. Wear in good health!

Thanks. I thought about it a lot and I'll go over my thought processes on picking this one in the next video. I was thinking of trying to document the patina by taking pics or videos of it each week and then maybe stitching them all together into a video or animated gif just to show how it progresses over time. I'll see

@@khronokraze I heard one should gently wipe down a bronze case (dry, without a liquid or acid) regularly to even out the patina as it develops rather that let it form isolated green spots that can crystalize and become gnarly. However, some people are going for that undersea look.

I'm definitely not going for a gnarly barnacled lost treasure look. I understand it and have observed, I think the bronze alloy that Tudor uses doesn't really get that green stuff. I believe the Tudor bronze gets more of a dark grey or dark brownish patina. My plan is to have a tasteful amount of patina. If he gets too dark and this is too much luster, I have no problems cleaning it off and starting over again. Not interested in maintaining the absolute complete history of the patina building up. I want to show The watch was well maintained including its particular patina look which should not be that far removed from its original clean beginnings. I don't plan to make it so unrecognizable that it looks like a piece of black carbon on the wrist.
