I always wanted this watch before it was discontinued but never got around to buying it. Just this week I found a gently worn one for sale and snatched it up. Cant be happier. If anything I think this model is superior to the current black dial version as it’s cleaner and more like the monochrome BB41. However the current BB36 in blue looks amazing on the jubilee.
I can’t believe how bad they messed up the new BB36 watches. They had something amazing here and then turned it into a dress watch and I just hate the new ones.

Completely agree. What makes it worse is that they already have the 1926 line
I have the blue dial version. Very legible, great lume, and it dresses up very well. Motorcycling to alpine swimming, to semi-formal, the BB36 is GADA.
so glad I bought this version rather than the new one. It runs at +2sec a day and the simplicity of the design, the contrast on the dial and the proportions are perfect!
Have one of these for sale only wore it for 2 months and been in the box for the last 3 years excellent condition just a few scuffs on the bracelet Black bay 36 79500

Still available?
I love this watch! This version is definitely more to my taste than the new ones. Thank you for sharing your comments especially on the clasp-wasn’t aware of that issue of it protruding slightly. 🙏🏼
I like how the bracelet is brushed, not like the current black bay gen
JEEZUZ ... That BEAUTIFUL Dial ... i LOVE it :)
Great educational video, thank you. I've been passively wanting to get one of these for many years, but I was always put off by something. Thanks for the information. I do still want to get one and try it for myself. That dial is just killer!
The size looks great

I think so too
I have this model in the silver dial, and I love it to bits. Find myself wearing this more than my Omega Seamaster SMP300, just because of our simple and clean it is.

Sometimes simple is all we need 👍
Great review, thanks! I own this watch and love it.
How is yours brushed? Mine is polished as heck?
Hello, and thanks for this video. I'm bored about the 374 205th iteration of a BB. But this full review was interesting.
They needed a 38 or 39, the 36 is too small and 41 was a little big
Where can I buy this exact piece? None of the online store that I'm aware of has them in stock

It has been discontinued, so it will be harder to find. Your best bet will be finding someone who is willing to sell one or places like chrono24.
Explorer? Better comparison would be a Rolex OP.

You make a great point
I bought the Tudor 36 Black because it does not look like a Rolex. Too bad the new models look like a Rolex. Talk about messing up an awesome watch!

rocking my smiley silver BB 36, still love that deep black :). The first link from the opposite side of the micro adjust holes is actually makes the clasp too long :(. That's the biggest problem for me

it has a sellita in it, not ETA. Tudor don't have access to ETA movements any more.
