Orban is talking about Christianity and what about the Christianity in countries like Poland? Hungary is not only one country with the same values. While our elections were free they were not fair in the modern sense, meaning there was a huge advantage for Orban both on media exposure and campaign finance side. But regardless, its the pathetic state of his opposition why he keeps winning.

As as foreigner who lives in Hungary for almost 2 years now, I'm so happy that Orbán is the leader in these turbulent times. If you listened to his speech at the Tranzit festival just 1 week ago, from how he spoke you would agree that he really does care about his country, he is not pretending like so many politicians. He does not seed hate speeches. He loves the Hungarian culture, language (but also respect others) and thinks ahead. I don't agree with him on 100% of the points but he is probably the best PM Hungary had in years.

ok so what I'm seeing on both this version of the interview and the one posted by Orban is that there are a LOT of "users" commenting who are 1: just really really REALLY loving whatever Orban has to say and 2: a vast majority of them are named like this user. name_name_randomnumber. like, yes, the interview itself is already ridiculous and pathetic, but unleashing paid commenters in droves just to push the "everybody loves this stance" narrative is truly commie stuff

@@cango5679 I actually agree with tomaspotato. I hate to hear it when newcomers to Hungary, especially digital nomads, start criticising the country that welcomed them with open arms. And I can assure you that Hungarians are much more respectful to foreigners that some Western European nations!

Not only does he speak a better English than the sadly demented person in the White House, but he speaks so much straight-forward common sense, what he says about Trump is absolutely correct, but more than that his perspectives on the situation between Russia and Ukrania and other aspects of today's world are so insightful, that indeed he puts most other leaders to shame.

Will never forget my two week holiday with Dutch friends who live there in a small village in beautiful rural Hungary. People were kind, it was peaceful, relaxed, safe, clean, beautiful, tolerant, divers and...Hungarian😊🎉 Including beautiful Budapest.

Mr Orban is an impressive man. Intelligent, compassionate, and genuine.

I will say this much: You won't hear Biden bring anthropology into a political discussion. I'm impressed by the clear thinking of this man.

In case you missed it: ORBAN did this: 1. destroyed independent journalism 2. destroyed indepenedent court system 3. destroyed oppositional parties by instituting draconian laws 4. almost got hungary kicked out of EU for being non-democratic state. But hey, great bullshit interview, right in line with Putins interview.

Hungary is the the freest and most secure country in europe, which is why I left France to come and live in Budapest. Knowing that my children go to school to be educated with good principles without being racketed by North Africans or having to chat with transsexuals between two grammar lessons is a wonderful thing and I thank Viktor Orban for that !!!

It’s because he interviews people and asks question that are honest and that flesh out the left and their motives. Other interviewers, including the conservative Hannity, don’t really interview, they lecture. They tell their opinions to the guest and expect to convert them. Honest and faithful leader... Is that a joke? Number of Hungarians in Ukraine, who serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, acc. to June 2023, is approximately 350-400 in total. So when Victor mentioned that "Hungarians losing lives daily" (refer to official report - "died 30-35 Hungarians") , it's a tremendous lie. So, 30-35 people in 553 days OR "1 person each 15-18 days" 🤷

He's the most hated in the U.S. among the Democrats, Obama, Biden, Killary, and so on. Not among the rest of Americans. Also, I think you're probably wrong in saying he's the most hated in Europe. Europe's views do not consist of what opinions we see on Europe's mainstream propaganda machine, its govt media. Europe consists of some radical leftists, but a good amount of Europe consists of sensible people and conservatives, who (of course) do not have their own mainstream media because what there is, is govt media, representing only the radical leftists.

Orban says that, unlike in the West, they talk more about security than freedom in Russia, but any country that refuses to dance to the tune of Washington is automatically called authoritarian by Western propaganda and does have to take care of its security to avoid invasion, regime change, etc. The irony is that Russia today has much more freedom, democracy and pluralism than the European Union, which is becoming more authoritarian and increasingly resembling the Soviet Union, only the ideology is different.

I was in Budapest recently during the celebrations mentioned and it is a lovely clean tidy city with polite well-behaved people - very safe and affordable. The only problem is that so many young people smoke, but apparently there used to be more, they are working on this. This guy is a very credible leader compared to just about any western leader right now....

As an Eastern European citizen living near Hungarian border on the Slovak side.... I was never happier that we have Hungarians so close. It makes me feel safe. Orban is a great politician, one of the greatest Europe ever had. Hungary is a beautiful country with great people. Even though Hungarian is a difficult language many people in my country speak Hungarian. I am very happy that Tucker is exposing the truth, I am so happy that he likes Hungary. Yes help is needed. Perhaps places like Hungary Slovakia Serbia Macedonia and Montenegro and Belarus could all join Brics and closer ties to China and Russia so that the West has to back off.

I come from Hungarian decent. My grand parents came over during WWII. They didn’t speak English. They prided themselves in learning the language and being part of the American culture. My grandfather owned a jewelry business in downtown Cleveland. He was a master with watches and diamonds (he had a law degree from Hungary). They never complained. Worked hard. They realized the American dream. Today, they would be disappointed with this country. It truly is sad.

Whether you agree with the man on various issues or not, you got to admit that he is a much better politician and man than most politicians you see parading on mainstream media. You understand now why he is never invited to speak in mainstream media.

I have noticed that leaders of smaller and not-rich countries can speak openly. Their words have fewer consequences than, say, the leader of the Free World, president of the most diverse and most powerful nation in the world. The president of the US is surrounded by enemies, and must choose his words perfectly, or there can be catastrophic problems.

No critical questions about Victor Orban being biggest ally in the western world of China at all. Orban took billions from China and even allowed Chinese schools in Hungary. I actually was in Budapest when the Pope was there. The pope always was on Ukraine's side too. So that was a question he could've asked too. He wouldn't of course, it doesn't help the GOP. He could've asked about China though.

I’m hungarian, from Transylvania. & I am so proud to be hungarian. Sadly Hungary is too small& has to little input in Europe& the polititians hate Orban because he still thinks traditionally& he wants to protect his people from this crazy world we live in now.
