Kelly! You are an amazing teacher. Thank goodness I found you this morning because watching others I was beginning to feel I wasn't going to get this. It's the way you're holding the beads too, I can see much more clearly. Thank you so much. I still intend to take it slowly when I start but I can come back here when I begin to get muddled - which I'm bound to of course! X

Thank you so much for this video. I have been beading for about 5 years now and have done every stitch. For some reason I've been really intimidated by the herring bone stitch. I decided to watch some videos on herring bone as to finally make myself learn it. I decided that the twisted version is prettier. So I jumped right in to twisted tubular herring bone. I made a beautiful bangle using 3mm beads, 3 colors. Magenta, dark blue iris and clear ab colors. I used black wildfire thread. It came out kind of 4th of July looking. It's really nice though. Thank you for your clear instructions. Sorry this was so long.

minnie0923 True, Wildfire is fine. People whose working tension is too tight or those who have large hands & small wrists need thread with some "give" for a solid bangle, though. :-) I'm so wound up, I'd probably have to use Stretch Magic LOL :-)

Great tutorial! I have a suggestion, instead of measuring the wrist, measure across the hand folded to slide on the bracelet and subtract a half an inch. That should work for those that bead exceptionally tight (or like me who has a 6 & 3/4" wrist but a fat 8 inch hand).
