I purchased the ride now, had them installed with the Conti’s 5000, three months later, they roll beautiful and great puncture resistant. You will feel a big difference. Purchased another pair, definitely not going back to regular tubes.
Good video I am eager to try the tubes!!!
2 Ridenow exploded on my bike ! one during an ascent (I'd be on hospital for long if it happens on a descent), another one, while I was sitting nearby and drinking a beer (there was no sun!). there are some weaker spots at tube joints which expand/get thinner. no probs with Tubolito though.
I received my order from Ali Express I placed 2 weeks ago. Got 4 RideNow tubes delivered to my door for $30 US. mine came with black stem caps. I put two on the bike paired with some 28mm Rene'Herse tires and so far no leaks.

Sweet mate. You’ll probably find you can remove the valve core if need be. They shouldn’t leak out of the box anyway but even if I’m riding on them everyday, I still pump them to the perfect pressure coz I get a little air escaping after a 100km ride from the the days before or whatever. Glad you like em. They were an awesome find for what I’m doing too 👌🏻👌🏻
Do you think anyone wants to listen to that music?
They are also more compact than butyl to stash in my repair kit which helps a lot.

Sure are mate. If you take the two out of your tyres and 1 out of your saddle bag, replace with 3 of these, you save huge amounts of weight
Just got mine delivered. Normal black cap. Summer 2023
I got 88mm carbon wheels. I'm currently using 42mm valve length inner tube with extender. Which TPU will fit my setup? Thanks
Any word on long term MTB bike reviews?
I think even if they raise the price of the RideNows that they'll never get as high as Tubolito or Pirelli.
a few days ago. I'm just installing a Ride Now inner tube for my hybrid bike. doing around 75 km using Schwalbe G One. Almost 90% of I follow muddy roads, climbing roads, gravel, swampy roads, plotholes, and rock. I'm using PSI for gravel roads. almost 75 km, suddenly my inner tube blew and left 3 holes around near presta hole. I don't know. is this something normal? or Tubolito better?
At what pressure do you inflate with skate wheels?
Thats not textbook china, but textbook economy. Everything in the world gets more expensive as demad grows, regardless of the country, politics or the age we are talking about, be it the present or any time in history.
I bought my RideNow last year, and they also did not have removable cores.
Price has just dropped recently, now about $11 again, which is pretty reasonable. Bought 6

Cool mate thanks for the heads up. The patch kits are worth getting too now they're out. Haven't had to buy any for like 6 months
I just purchased some RideNow tubes but hesitating to install them yet. The reason is there is a adhesive decal with a hole die cut out of it and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to place the decal over the stem before installing it onto the rim. There are no instructions written on this. Are you able to elaborate on this?

I’ve had about 20 of them on various bikes and have always just put them in straight out of the box

@@cycling_harley I, on the other hand, had not noticed the sticker until the assembly was finished.... It didn't say anything in the instructions.... Do you think it is a problem to ride without that sticker mounted?
@RobkeR3

Place the sticker over the valve hole on the rim, it is to stop the vale stem from rattling on the rim
👍👍👍
Very informative video, thanks. Sounds like you've purchased 40-50 tubes. Why so many? Makes me cringe whether they puncture a lot or maybe you run a bike store.

I have 8 bikes and keep 2 spares in each one's bottle cage kits. I didn't have the repair kits for a long time too. Coz they were so cheap I was just chucking them out. Now I've got the repair kits that have come out I haven't bought one for over 6 months now. Also I buy them for my mates when I'm doing an order to save them freight etc. I rate them big time

Why would that make you cringe? Wtf?
hi there..can share what is your experience with TPU tube be it ride now or cyclami in term of heat coming from carbon rim brake long braking? is it safe?

If you goto my page, then play lists. I have a whole review series on them with rim and disc breaks. The answer is yes though. Safe

@@cycling_harley have you tried the 19g ones with rim brakes?
Ridenow tubes: weight - 10 out of 10. Rolling 10 out of 10. Puncture resistance 0 out of 10. So, on your ride, how many time do you win with these tubes??
I bought 2 ridenow tubes. The first one blowed straight after the first inflation right next to the valve. The second one punctured on the first ride. I've ordered another 4 but I don't think they work. You inflate them to 100psi and they go boom. Never had such problems with the latex tubes.

maybe the tubes where to small for your tires what is your tire size anyway?

Ride Now TPU must be inflated to 6 bars or 72 PSI. No wonder they had burst for such high pressure.
Hi, what's is the utility of having removable valve core on tpu tubes???(ridenow)
@coleg7876

Deeper wheelsets typically require use of a valve extender. The less finicky types you take the valve core out of the tube, add the extender and then add the core back to the other side of the extender.
They show up on the $1.99 and up feature on Ali Express for $2.99

Hahaha yeh mate. I made them famous on this channel lol. Nah only joking, they are really popular now
Is it true that the Ridenows are 1 size for 700 tires from 18mm to 32mm? That’s all I could find
@SamuelBlackMetalRider

No mate. There are gravel specific Ride Now up to 47! They’re 32-47!! And more recently some even LIGHTER ones at 24g that goes from 18 to 28 only. Unlike these ones in the video that are 18-32 and weight 34g.
@BrianRPaterson

Excellent insight. I ride 42-47mm tires, so those 46g ones look ideal for me. I'll get 4 tubes - 2 to ride and 2 spares - and a patch kit. Cheers

Hi there, if you goto my playlist there is a series of reviews etc of them. This was just an update at the time 👍🏻
Tubolitos could be a waste of money. Compared to Ride now, they are much better. Based on my experience, I had purchased the first option and got a flat tire 4 times in less than three months and got sick of this, which led me to try the latter option. I can take for granted that the performance of Ride now is far from being outdone by Tubolitos.
Why are you buying them in bulk? How many punctures do you get?
@cycling_harley

I’ve got 9 bikes and ride everyday. Plus I buy extras for my mates.
@KrzysztofArciszewski
Жыл бұрын
@@cycling_harley ok cool, buying for mates kinda makes sense, owning 9 bikes doesn't really mean you're gonna be getting 9 times the punctures, you put on average only 1/9th of the mileage into each bike :) thanks
@cycling_harley

Not sure how you operate man but each bike takes 2 tubes plus 2 spares. Each bike has its own saddle bag/setup for spare stuff. So I bought a whole bunch in bulk just for my bikes. When I do an order I asked around who wants any and we got them at once to save on freight for the boys.
@KrzysztofArciszewski
Жыл бұрын
@@cycling_harley well if you have drastically different tire widths, that kinda makes sense, for fairly similar tire widths you could just use the same spares, rotating then between rides. I didn’t account for the tubes you actually habe installed on your bikes so yeah, that pretty much checks out :) thanks for the clarification
For 25 usd/eur a piece I no need to use chinese shops and wait months for possible delivery.
Cool video but dear god that music...its like a 90s porn video

To say that about China is 👎... if you don't like the price then buy at your local vendor.
